Our hotel is only an hour s drive from Dublin, situated on 35 acres of woodland walks and gardens overlooking the scenic Glen of the Downs. Our dedicated and attentive staff will cater to your every need ensuring you of a wonderful & relaxing festive break. You can check in from 2pm onwards on Christmas Eve. A mulled wine and mince pie reception with carol singers to get you into the festive mood will start from 4pm. After a candlelit dinner in our 2 AA Rosette Woodlands Restaurant with classical pianist on Christmas Eve, guests can retire to the Conservatory Bar for some festive music with our resident band. We would be delighted to organise transport to our local church, St. Mochonog s on Christmas day. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast on Christmas morning & prepare for the festivities that lie ahead. On Christmas Day our younger guests are invited to meet in the hotel lobby for the arrival of Santa Claus whilst the parents can enjoy a glass of bubbly in the Malton Lounge from 12 noon. A lavish 5 course lunch will be served in the Woodlands Restaurant. Afterwards take a stroll around the hotels gardens and Woodlands Walk or simply relax and soak up the festive atmosphere. Our evening supper will be served in the Glenview Suite, after which you can retire to the Conservatory Bar to listen to Live Music. Revive on St Stephen s Day with a leisurely breakfast followed by a treasure hunt from 11am on the hotel grounds. Enjoy a 5 course candlelit dinner in the Woodlands Restaurant with music afterwards with our resident band in The Conservatory Bar. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast the following morning prior to your departure where we hope you have enjoyed our hospitality & service. Kids get a special welcome over christmas at the Glenview, with an action packed kids club over the few days. After the kiddies arrival on Christmas Eve, they can enjoy a festive story telling with a visit from Santa s little helpers. Extensive leisure facilities with 18 metre swimming pool & kids pool. Woodland walks & gardens for playing, games in the pool, movie nights, board games, arts & crafts & much more.
