2 Accommodation Beach Huts Middleton offers 12 charming self-contained iconic Brighton Beach styled huts which in total can accommodate up to 40 guests. In addition to the beach huts, our 3 bedroom, modern design Port Elliot Beach House is located minutes from the huts and can sleep up to 6 extra guests. Each hut comes complete with linen, continental breakfast provisions and a complimentary bottle of bubbly. Our huts have their own individual charm, some with rustic, unconventional pieces which regularly leave guests with a great appreciation for our owner/designer s. The huts offer 3 types of accommodation, details and prices of which are listed on page 6 of this package. 3 Village Green The Village Green is surrounded by a seaside cottage garden which provides a great backdrop for photos. You can commence your function with drinks and nibbles in the village hall or simply just chill about and spend some quality time with friends and family before you head over to Blues (or other place of your choice) for your dinner. You can opt for your group to utilise some of the recreational activities whilst enjoying a drink. These have proven to be extremely popular and create much fun. 4 Village Hall The Village Hall creates a focal point for many different activities including: Intimate or casual dinner with family and friends Set up & serving of refreshments throughout the day Pre/post function breakfast with guests Quiet place to relax & reflect with friends The Hall offers a fully equipped kitchen complete with gas cooktop, electric oven, full size fridge/freezer, all cutlery, crockery, etc plus 2 large BBQs for outdoor cooking. Keeping up with the transterior trend, the bi-fold doors of the Village Hall open onto the Village Green to create the optimal outdoors in and indoors out scenario. 7 Some things to consider when booking your Function Deposit: To secure all huts, a deposit of $1000 is required 12 months prior to your function date & will be held by Beach Huts Middleton in order to secure & confirm your booking. A $500 bond via card swipe may also be required for security on arrival. The Village Green may be used for small functions (up to 40 guests), however conditions & restrictions do apply, as well as further costs. Please discuss with staff at the Beach Huts. We can supply up to 30 event chairs & 4 large white umbrellas. (refer page 10) $7 per chair $25 per umbrella. Glass hire: Champagne & wine $0.80c each (Inc. washing). A long weekend requires a minimum 3 night stay. There are no room services during the stay. Alcohol may be served on the Village Green but cannot be sold due to our licencing restrictions. We ask entertainment to cease by 11.30pm and guests quiet by midnight due to our licensing requirements. For all functions at Blues restaurant, the Village Hall will be locked at 7pm on the evening of the function. We require that any marquees, fittings, hired equipment etc be removed on the day of departure by midday. 10 Stress Free Equipment Hire At the Beach Huts you have the choice of hiring your own event equipment from an external provider or you can opt to hire our onsite equipment. You will find our prices competitive with the current market and it can save you some time with your planning to have it all in the same place. 12 Group Booking Agreement I (name) From (address) agree to the terms of this contract and understand it is active for the dates listed below. Start of event or stay: day of 20 To end/depart on the: day of 20 A deposit of $1000 is required 12 months prior to the arrival date & will be held by Beach Huts Middleton in order to secure & confirm your booking for the above date(s). Upon arrival the deposit can be used to pay for accommodation, Village Green hire, and other hire fees. In the unlikely event of a cancellation of more than 50% of the total booking 30 days or less for the arrival date the deposit will be forfeited. Less than a 50% cancellation a percentage of the deposit will forfeited. Any amount remaining from the deposit will be refunded on the day of departure. A $500 bond may be required by Beach Huts Middleton & will be used to cover any incidentals, accidents or damages that may occur to any of the Beach Huts, grounds or gardens during your event/stay. This can be achieved by way of a card swipe on arrival. For a booking which includes a Friday or Saturday a compulsory 2 night minimum stay is required on all Beach Huts & the accommodation will not be serviced during the stay. Cancellations; please refer to our cancellation policy attached. Our licensing requires all entertainment must cease by 11.30pm. This includes music from a live band, DJ, or any other source. The Village Hall will therefore be locked at 7pm on the occasion where the celebration will be at Blues Restaurant or another venue. Any type of music or entertainment to be played on the Village Green must be approved by management. Please ensure this is arranged to avoid any disappointment on the day. If your party has not booked all the Beach Huts we expect that you will show respect to our other guests & strictly any music or noisy behavior to cease by 10pm. The use of confetti or synthetic material that won t decompose is strictly prohibited on the Village Green; rose petals, bubbles or any items made from biodegradable material are acceptable. Pegs and stakes are not to be used on the Village Green. Preparation for setting up an event on the Village Green may start from 11.00am on the day of arrival. Equipment and ideas must be pre-approved by management. Beach Huts Middleton ask that any marquee, catering equipment etc be removed from site before noon on the day of your departure & that you ensure the Village Hall & grounds are clear of any litter, cans, bottles, butts etc. All Beach Huts must be vacated by 10.00AM (unless otherwise negotiated) on the day of departure and left in a respectable state to avoid a late departure or cleaning fee.
