4 Amenities Inside, enjoy the spaciousness of an 1,840 square-foot hall. The versatile space can comfortably accommodate seating for up to 120 guests. The adjoining terrace and deck are also available to rent (for an additional fee) when renting the Boathouse. Lake Ellyn Boathouse is fully ADA accessible. The following available amenities and house equipment (limited quantities) are included with any Boathouse rental: - Black & Gray Patterned Chairs - 60" Round Tables - 8' Banquet Tables - 4' Banquet Tables - Highboy Tables - Commercial Grade Warming Oven, Microwave, Refrigerator, Freezer, Ice Machine, & Bar Refrigerator. 8 EVENT PLANNING Details Availability: The timeless beauty of the Lake Ellyn Boathouse is available from March to mid-december to host private events. The Park District books dates up to one year in advance. Event Date Holds: We are happy to put a date on hold at no charge to you while you discuss plans with family and friends. Holds are good for two weeks. Hours: The minimum number of hours to rent is two. All rentals must wrap up by 10:30pm and vacate the facility by 11:00pm. Capacity: The Boathouse can accommodate seating for up to 120 guests. Music: The Lake Ellyn Boathouse welcomes DJs and small acoustic bands inside the Boathouse. Catering: Guests may use any caterer of their choosing. The Lake Ellyn Boathouse does not have facilities for cooking; all hot food items should be prepared prior to your rental. Beverages: All renters planning to serve alcohol are required to purchase an alcohol permit. All alcohol must remain within the facility. Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited within all Glen Ellyn Park District parks and facilities. Staffing: A member of our staff is on-site during your event to take care of the building and assist your vendors; in general, to make your day stress-free and your event run smoothly. [8]
