2 Welcome Located in the leafy Northern suburb of Ascot, St Margaret s is an independent, Anglican girls day school and boarding school which aims to provide excellence in teaching and learning within a broad, balanced and flexible curriculum, underpinned by a supportive Christian environment which reflects the philosophy of the Sisters of the Society of the Sacred Advent. At St Margaret s, our boarders are housed in the heart of our Ascot campus a safe and tranquil environment surrounded by tree-lined streets, well-kept gardens and residences, and views that extend across the river and cityscape to the distant ranges. With the capacity to host and cater for up to 217 guests, we offer the perfect venue and services for your next stay in Brisbane. In addition to the accommodation, we are also able to provide catering throughout your stay. Our onsite Catering Operations Manager and his team provide well-balanced and varied menus with the freshest seasonal ingredients. All meals are served in our Dining Hall, which is directly adjacent to our Boarding House. These areas are ideal for camps, retreats and for intrastate, interstate and international groups requiring accommodation. There is also an opportunity to hire several of our onsite school facilities during your stay. Our 50m Olympic size swimming pool and main school gymnasium can be booked, pending availability. We also have several other venue spaces that provide an ideal space to hold team meetings and events during your stay. Our Arts Centre Foyer, Eton Hall, The Loft or M s Café are all onsite, easily accessible venue spaces that can be booked, pending availability.

The Boarding House During the school holidays, our Boarding House at St Margaret s can accommodate up to 198 guests within a variety of dormitories spread over three floors.

4 The Boarding House During the school holidays, our Boarding House at St Margaret s can accommodate up to 198 guests within a variety of dormitories spread over three floors. Each dormitory has been named after a significant woman from Australia s short but colourful history and have a combination of single, double and quad share cubicles. Our quad share cubicles reside in Longman, Macarthur, McKillop and Sutherland, while our single and double cubicles are in O Neil, Durack 1 and 2, Chisholm and Kenny. All dormitories have their own common areas central to their rooms, which offers a great communal space for down time. These areas have lounges and bean bags, TVs, DVD players, fridges and microwaves. The Boarding House also has a basic, self-contained kitchen that has two work stations and can be used throughout the duration of your stay. There is also an industrial-capacity laundry facility onsite that is easily accessible. Our Boarding House is completely equipped with ducted air-conditioning that also has reverse cycle cooling and heating.

5 Durack College Durack College is a boutique newly-refurbished residence with 25 air-conditioned rooms available for hire. Durack College is set in a quiet garden enclave adjacent to St Margaret s Anglican Girls School, with stunning views of the river, city centre and beyond. The College has four different accommodation offerings with two accommodation wings Raphael and Clewer. The Raphael wing includes seven double bedrooms, main kitchen, The Oratory, student lounge and flexible learning studio. Clewer has 18 rooms in total with nine rooms on each level (ground and level one). This includes five deluxe garden view rooms and four deluxe city view rooms on each level. At the end of each level are baggage storage, shared bathrooms and kitchenettes. Durack College has a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, as well as two kitchenettes with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and sandwich maker. The College also has formal dining and conference facilities in The Oratory including a large screen LCD TV with data access. There is also a communal barbecue located in the outdoor recreation space, as well as a laundry facility. Similarly, Durack College has a dedicated onsite catering team with experience hosting a wide range of events and group bookings.

Onsite Catering Our experienced Catering Operations Manager and his team provide well-balanced and varied menus. All meals are served buffet style in our Eton Dining Hall which is directly adjacent to our Boarding House. We are happy to tailor a specific menu for you throughout your stay or you may choose from our catering menus. Meal times can also be altered to what is convenient for you and your associated teams or groups. Linen Linen is included in your stay including sheets, pillow/pillowcase. Guests are required to bring their own towels. Beds will be fully fitted ready for your arrival and guests are required to remove bedding following instructions provided on departure. Cleaning The Boarding House is fully cleaned before your arrival. It is the responsibility of group members to keep their area clean and tidy during their stay and upon departure. Bathrooms and common areas will be cleaned during your stay. Parking Parking availability for buses and vehicles will be street parking immediately adjacent to the Boarding House on Lapraik Street or Towers Street.
