This is a joint ride with the Riders group, some of whom are also LSC members. The Prez Sez: Dear LSC Members, With our excellent summer events now behind us, we look forward to our membership meetings starting back up this month.

By meeting in some new locations, we will be able to reach out to a wider audience to find new members.

2 The Prez Sez: Dear LSC Members, With our excellent summer events now behind us, we look forward to our membership meetings starting back up this month. The meetings are the 3rd Thursday of the month in Sept, Nov, Jan, Feb, and March. This year, we are going to try a few new locations for our meetings. The goal is to increase the exposure of the club. By meeting in some new locations, we will be able to reach out to a wider audience to find new members. I understand that change can be difficult, but I urge you to embrace these changes and take the opportunity to invite a friend to check out our club at a new location. We'll kick off the year at our old favorite, the Lancaster Liederkranz in September. In November and January, we'll meet at Tellus 360 in Lancaster City. And finally, in February and March, we will get together at Loxley's/ Heritage Hotel. We hope you'll love these new venues. Come out and socialize with us on the 3rd Thursday of each month mentioned above. In addition to that, we have our Annual Ski Expo in Oct, and Christmas Party in Dec to round out a great season of monthly events. It's sure to be another fun-filled year! There are not many spots left on the Jackson Hole trip, so if you are hoping to ski with us in Jackson this year, don't wait to sign up! Our weekend trips are also on sale now. We're still working on planning one more trip for the year, so stay tuned for more information on that. TRIP COMMITTEE UPDATE: The Trip Committee would like to thank everyone that has already signed up for a trip this coming ski/ boarding season!! The Jackson Hole trip only has space for nine more people. Please contact Don Benninger to sign up before you are left out in the cold. We have two weekend trips this year. The first weekend trip is to Mt. Snow, VT. January 8-10, Our second trip is to Loon/Cannon, NH. March 10-13, Please check the flyer and or website on details for signing up. We have three day trips scheduled this coming season. They are Elk Mt. in January, Blue Mt. in February and Seven Springs in March. Dates will be available at the September meeting. Reminder: When signing up for a major trip, include a copy of your driver s license or passport along with your deposit check and signed trip application. Note: Trip leaders will not room any more than two people per room and will do their best to room people together but, please remember, a single supplement fee may be implemented for those that do not have or get assigned a roommate. The Trip Committee is always interested in having new people looking to serve on the Trip Committee and looking for members that may be interested in volunteering to lead a trip.
