3 Note from the Newsletter Editor Happy 2016 Everyone wow that came round quick, where does the time go? As I write this, I have taken a moment to reflect back on our motorhoming in 2015, but also look forward to next year s adventures too. In rallying terms, we didn t get a chance to run our own rally in This was because, as I have may have said before, I only get a few weekends off due to working shift work, and for the year there were no rallies available to run on the list which occurred on any of my weekends off. I must say, I did miss organising some entertainment for everyone, but that said we all still enjoyed the entertainment provided on one s we did do - and I was able, once more to reveal my less serious self when unleashing the toilet rolls in the panto song! Jo literally had a ball playing Cinderella too. Whilst we couldn t attend all the ESCC rallies this year, we were able to have a bash at a couple of other Centre s rallies, as they were available when I had some time off. We had a lovely time in South Wales and Devon - two sites I will be recommending to the Rally Sec as they would be very suitable for our centre. I got in quick with the rally board and making up for last year by volunteering for two rallies in As I complete this newsletter and enter into January, my thoughts and efforts will be to sort out the quizzing material for our first rally, which Steve and I hope many of you will be able to attend and have fun with. If I can also take a moment to make a request for your comments and any contributions for the newsletter. It doesn t have to be an essay; even a couple of lines will do to say what you enjoyed about a rally you ve been on - you could even send me a text! Whatever you get up to this year in your vans, just make sue you are able to.keep Calm and Rally on Newsletter Publication Dates SPRING published for Easter Rally latest input early March 2016 SUMMER published for 1st rally in July latest input mid June AUTUMN published for Nominations latest input Late August WINTER published for New Year latest input early Dec Rally Site Speed Limit Please remember that in the interest of everyone s safety, the vehicle speed limit on a rally site is 5mph.
