6 Weekend Activities Tradewinds Park in Coconut Creek is a 699 acre Broward County regional park and is located at 3600 West Sample Road in Coconut Creek, Florida, 33073, just west of Florida's Turnpike. The park is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pony Rides are offered on Saturdays, Sundays, and designated holidays from 11 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., weather permitting. Children must be less than 52 inches tall to ride the ponies. The cost is $2 per ride or $6 for four rides, with payment taken at the General Store. Public Farm Tours are offered on the third full weekend of each month running from 11 a.m.-2 pm; the cost is $2 per person for the 30- minute tour.
