Biographical Note Languages English Sponsor Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant, Albert F. Potter was an Arizona rancher who was hired as a grazing expert in Potter worked to designate areas as forest reserves. Potter also took photographs of about 400 locations during the summer of. Some of these photographs are available in this collection. Mr. Potter worked to find a balance between reserving land and public use of that land. David A. Prevedel was the Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing Program Coordinator for the Intermountain Region of the USDA Forest Service. He earned a B.S. degree in range science from USU. He was the Range Conservationist on the Ferron Ranger District, in the Manti-LaSal National Forest from 1971 to Content Description The David Prevedel photograph collection consists of images taken and collected by Prevedel for rephotography projects on Forest Service lands. Included in the collection are scans of images by Charles Potts,. Correspondence and articles related to National Forest rephotography projects. Materials collected about Lincoln Ellison. 1
