1 Information for the ISM-SPP 1573/2 meeting in the Kardinal-Döpfner-Haus in Freising, June 2014 Poster sessions poster numbers: Each poster has a unique number (one poster per proposal NOT per applicant). You can find your number on the attached list of posters below. With this number you can identify the location of your poster in the "Aula" (see attached room plan below). Please do not remove the labels on the poster boards. All posters should be displayed throughout the meeting. They will (most probable) be reviewed in the sessions indicated in the table given below. The provided poster boards have a height of 146 cm a width of 118 cm. WLAN: WLAN is available in the Aula, the seminar rooms common areas. You will receive the necessary code at the reception. Korbinians-Klause : In the evening you can get drinks snacks in the Korbinians-Klause, which is accessible from the courtyard. It is located in the oldest part of the ancient residence. Definitely worth a visit Usually open from 7.30 pm until midnight. Arkaden -Cafe: On the ground floor in the courtyard, you can find the Arkaden-Cafe with a television, two computers with internet access a self-service coffee machine. You can as well bring beverages from the Korbinians-Klause. Further refreshments: Next to the dining-hall (in-between second floor old building third floor new building) you can find some vending machines for cold hot beverages, some snacks sweets. Arrival after 8pm: After 8pm, the reception will be closed you can get your key from the key safe right next to the main entrance door. If you have not done already, please notify us in advance send us a 6-digit number, which will be used as the code. If you have provided us with a number with less than 6 digits, we have added zeros in front. On the left h side next to the main entrance door, you find three showcases. On the backside of the middle one, the key safe is located. Type in your code number at the keypad you will receive your key. It opens the front door as well as your room door. 2 After entering the Kardinal-Döpfner-Haus, cross the courtyard enter the wooden door on the opposite side. The rooms are located in the adjacent newer part of the building. Please mind that the floor levels are shifted between the old new building. Next to the elevator you can find a panel with some information about how to find your room. Directions to Freising The Kardinal-Döpfner-Haus is placed in the middle of Freising on a small hill called Domberg. By urban transportation system ( S-Bahn ) or train: At Freising you will find a railway station for urban transportation system ( S- Bahn, line S1) for trains (from Munich to Lshut). From Munich main train station (Hauptbahnhof) take a train to Freising (approx. 20 minutes). It will take 10 minutes to walk from the railway station to Kardinal-Döpfner-Haus. There are also taxis available. From Munich Airport Franz Josef Strauß (4 km to Freising): Take bus line 635 from the Airport bus station. In 15 minutes you will arrive at Freising railway station. It will take 10 minutes to walk from the railway station to Kardinal-Döpfner-Haus. There are also taxis available. By car: Freising is next to the highway ( Autobahn ) from Munich to Nuremberg (A9) the highway from Munich to Deggendorf (A92). Coming from the South it would be best to take the exit Freising Süd, from the North please take the exit Allershausen. Please see the map below for further details (KDH = Kardinal-Döpfner-Haus; Bahnhof = railway station; Tiefgarage = basement garage). 2
