Participation and Mentoring Officer, Herefordshire Council Welcome to Churchill House Located at the heart of Herefordshire s education sector in beautiful parkland offering panoramic views of Hereford city centre, Churchill House is home to Hoople Training and Education. This characterful Grade II listed building was formerly home to the works of Hereford-born painter Brian Hatton ( ) and is now the location for many of Hoople s wide range of training programmes. When not being utilised for Hoople s own programmes, the purposeequipped training rooms are available for hire to external organisations at competitive half and full-day rates. Evening hire is also available. Kitchen facilities are available for use by delegates, as well as a number of vending machines selling snacks and hot and cold drinks. Additional catering and pre-booked refreshments can be arranged, by request, and we can offer additional support services, eg photocopying, event management, facilitators, as required. 4 NE W!! Rooms at Churchill House The Cedar Room is a spacious room with a small, adjacent courtyard. It has recently been converted into our dedicated IT suite and training room, equipped with 26 workstations. For more details, see page 4. The Oak Room is the largest of our training rooms, and can be readily configured to suit your requirements. For more details, see page

5 Cedar Room The Cedar Room is an airy and spacious room located in a quiet corner of the Hoople training centre. It has recently been converted into our dedicated IT suite and training room, and offers 26 computer workstations. Overhead screens ensure that all delegates can enjoy a full and clear view in class sessions. Although there is limited natural light to the room, the room is very bright and well lit. In summer months or warm winter days, delegates can spill out onto the adjacent courtyard. 200 per full day (8.30am 5.00pm) 100 per half day (8.30am 12.30pm, or pm) 100 per evening + 15 per hour custodian ( pm) Room measures m

6 Sycamore Room The Sycamore Room is a large, rectangular room that benefits from plenty of natural light. It is ideal for classroom based activities and workshops and can be reconfigured to meet your specific needs or requirements, including usage as boardroom. 100 per full day (8.30am 5.00pm) 50 per half day (8.30am 12.30pm, or pm) 50 per evening + 15 per hour custodian ( pm) Room measures m 20 NA

7 Maple Room If you re looking for a practical room in a convenient location then our Maple Room is for you. This no frills but configurable facility is a perfect location for your training or staff development needs. The room benefits from natural lighting and is a pleasant and practical location that is favourable to learning. 80 per full day (8.30am 5.00pm) 40 per half day (8.30am 12.30pm, or pm) 40 per evening + 15 per hour custodian ( pm) Room measures m 16 NA

8 Oak Room The Oak Room is the largest available for hire at the Hoople Training Centre. Situated towards the rear of the Training centre, the Oak Room can be configured to meet your specific needs and offers a quiet, wellequipped location to hold your training event, workshop, company away day, social occasion or networking event. Room measures m 160 per full day (8.30am 5.00pm) 80 per half day (8.30am 12.30pm, or pm) 80 per evening + 15 per hour custodian ( pm) 50 NA

9 Blue Fir Room The Blue Fir Room is a small, quiet location in which to hold your confidential meeting, training session or discussion group. Compact, but benefiting from natural lighting, the room offers well equipped meeting facilities for small groups of up to seven delegates. 80 per full day (8.30am 5.00pm) 40 per half day (8.30am 12.30pm, or pm) 40 per evening + 15 per hour custodian ( pm) Room measures m

10 Silver Birch Room The Silver Birch Room is situated within a quiet location in the building and is ideal to hold your confidential meeting, training session or discussion group. Similar to the Blue Fir Room above, the Silver Birch Room is compact but benefits from natural lighting and is a well equipped meeting room suitable for small groups of up to six delegates.
