2 THE NICOSIA INTEGRATED MOBILITY MASTER PLAN IMMP philosophy aims to improve mobility and the environment in Nicosia Increasing the share of a reliable Public Transport, Walking and Cycling Balancing the allocation of road space, in order to serve all modes of transport. Introduction of Tram

Redesigning according to the model of «shared space» and the principles of sustainable mobility and bioclimatic design Offering a pleasant, attractive, comfortable and shaded urban environment with opportunities for open-space social, recreational and commercial activities.

15 4. Redesign of the Outer Ring Road Along the Moat of the Venetian Walls Budget 14 million Regeneration proposal at the most important point of the perimeter of the Venetian Walls Monument which is now highly degraded.

18 5. Mini Bus service in the city centre 13 New Mini Buses Euro VI Category (Almost zero émissions) More attractive to people, significantly improving the existing bus service. Smart bus stops, providing real time information, using solar energy. Information on the bus and through the development of a Smart Phone Application.

19 6. TRAMWAY SYSTEM IN NICOSIA Implementation Cost 216 million A network of tram routes, 14.2 Km, to serve the greater urban area of Nicosia, is feasible and advisable.
