3 Sale Information INSPECTION: All sheep forward for sale will be subject to a Society Inspection. Any animal which does not reach the Inspection Standard will have a red mark put on their back, these animals will not be allowed to be sold and must be removed from the Sale pens immediately. The Inspector s decision will be final. CONDITIONS OF SALE: Sold under the British Berrichon Sheep Society Sale Rules and the Livestock Auctioneers Terms & Conditions of Sale. All sheep will be sold in guineas. A commission will be charged at 5% on all sheep. The Pedigree and descriptions of the lots are believed to be correct, but are not intended as warranty, and therefore shall be taken with all faults and errors of description. SUBSTITUTES: Two substitutes will be allowed provided that notification of ear numbers have been made to the Society Secretary 48 hours prior to the sale and pedigree papers are given to the Secretary and Sale Inspectors prior to Inspection. All sheep must be tagged in accordance with the relevant DEFRA regulations. The Vendor shall be responsible for the correctness of identity and animals individual pedigree number must be printed on their tag. The vendor shall be responsible for all faults. The buyer has one hour after the end of Sale to complain.
