2 Conditions of sale. 1. The highest bidder to be the purchaser. 2. The Hon Auctioneer reserves the right to bid on behalf of intending purchasers unable to attend the sale. 3. Should any disagreement arise, the lot will be put up for sale again, at the discretion of the Hon Auctioneer, whose decision will be final. 4. Every care has been taken to describe the lots accurately in the catalogue but all lots are sold as viewed, and purchased with all faults and errors of description or otherwise, and no responsibility can be accepted by the Association or any member, for any error, mistake or omission made in connection with this catalogue or this auction sale. 5. All items offered for sale should be delivered to the site between the hours of 0800 and 1100 on the morning of the sale, unless arrangements have been made with the auction manager. 6. All items purchased must be paid for and removed by the buyer on the day of the sale. Lots shall be collected only after payment for the items purchased. Purchasers may be required to produce sale tickets, for items purchased, to the auction stewards before removal from the site. 7. Purchasers should be aware that at the fall of the hammer, the lot becomes the responsibility of the successful bidder. The Association does not accept any liability for any loss. 8. To cover expenses, a commission at the rate of 10%, plus 50 pence per lot entered, will be charged. All prospective purchasers must obtain a buyer's number before bidding. N.B. To prevent the spread of disease: 1. All used bee equipment should be sterilized before use by the purchaser. 2. No drawn comb, in any form, will be accepted for sale. Should any be delivered, it will be removed from the site for later collection by the proposed vendor. 3. All hives containing live bees will have been examined by Ministry Inspectors before the day of the auction. Only those confirmed disease free will be accepted for auction. 4. A report on condition of each hive will be given before it is auctioned.
