1 Lake Zurich Girl Scout Day Camp Join us for a week of fun, as we, GO COCONUTS at CAMP ALOHA! July 24 through July 28, 2017 You don t have to be a Girl Scout to attend our Day Camp! All girls entering 1st 12th grade in the fall of 2017 may attend camp. Whats happening at camp this year? We're going to be: making new friends, singing silly camp songs, going on nature walks. And, how about learning new games, doing arts and crafts like tye-dying your own t-shirt, and going on a scavenger hunt? And then, we'll have lunch! How would you like to help prepare a yummy meal? The Older Girls have planned some fun food with items like Pulled pork foil packs, Walking Tacos, Quesadillas, and Grilled Ham & Cheese Sandwiches to fill your hungry bellies. After you have a hearty meal, there's always room for S mores!!! Especially when you have helped make them over a campfire! What's that, you still want S'more? How about having the opportunity to fish at the, Mary Ann Beebe Girl Scout Camp, pond throughout the week, and go swimming at Vernon Hills Family Aquatic Center on Friday. (see more detail on the registration form) It's a family affair... Adult volunteers may bring other children, who meet the age requirements, to camp on the day(s) that they are there to volunteer.
