Ingleside officers wrote 1500 moving traffic citations in March---by the far the highest in the entire City. ARRESTS: 04/15/07 12:05 am First block of Danton Officers Michael Hutchings and Kwadwo Asare went to the first block of Danton where a number of domestic violence incidents have occurred. The officers arrested an estranged husband who had struck and thrown his wife 1
2 to the ground. Case # /15/07 6:45 am Onondaga and Mission Officer Harry Soulette observed a suspicious person at Onondaga and Mission. He set up a surveillance of the suspect and after a period of time detained the suspect. He then found that the suspect was in possession of some tools that had been taken from a nearby vehicle. The suspect, who lives on the first block of Allison, was arrested for receiving stolen property. Case # /15/07 12:29 pm Mission and Cesar Chavez Officers Joan Cronin and Amalia Barcena stopped a vehicle for a registration violation. The driver, who lives on the 100 block of Andover, was driving with a suspended license and was wanted on a warrant for the same thing. Case # /15/07 3:29 pm 900 block of Ellsworth Officers Victor Hui and Chad Campos encountered a trespasser on Housing Authority property. The suspect gave numerous false names and was finally identified. The Pittsburgh resident was cited for false information to a peace officer and admonished regarding trespassing. Case # /15/07 6:04 pm 4800 block of Mission Officers Andrea Calahane and Mike Murphy were on foot patrol when they spotted a resident of the 700 block of London drinking alcohol in public. He also had a "crack" pipe. He was cited on two charges. 04/15/07 7:19 pm First block of Persia A victim was stabbed on the street leaving a puncture wound to the upper left chest and a collapsed lung. There were witnesses who immediately called the police. Numerous officers arrived with Officers Luis Tillan and Jason Gallagher being flagged down by the stabbed victim. The victim gave the officer a brief description of the suspect. The officers searched the area and spotted him boarding a muni bus at Mission and Onondaga. The suspect was taken into custody and positively identified by the witnesses. The suspect, who lives on the first block of Pretor, was charged with attempted murder. This was quick and excellent police work. Case #

Chignell Commanding Officer Ingleside Police Station #1 John V. Young Lane San Francisco, Ca Telephone Members of the Ingleside Police Station conducted another pedestrian "sting" at Mission and Maynard on Monday, April 16, The operation was supervised by Sgt. James Miller. The decoy pedestrian was Officer Michael Walsh with enforcement by Officers Jose Lopez, Jude Rand and Glenn Ortega. Twenty citations were issued in one hour for drivers failing to yield to a pedestrian in the crosswalk. Some of Officer Walsh's attempts to get across the crosswalk were harrowing, with drivers narrowly missing him in the middle of the crosswalk. 2. The monthly Police/Community meeting will be held tonight, Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 7:00 pm in the community room of Ingleside Police Station. 3. 5 ARRESTS: 04/16/07 11:35 am Mission and Maynard Officer Jude Rand stopped a vehicle for failing to yield to a pedestrian. The driver, who lives on the 400 block of Naples, was unlicensed. She was cited and her 1991 Mazda was towed. Case # /16/07 11:42 am 500 block of Bartlett Officer William McCarthy observed a person on a bicycle apparently involved in drug transactions on Cesar Chavez. He followed the suspect to the 500 block of Bartlett where the suspect threw suspected crack cocaine on the sidewalk when he saw the officer. The resident of the 400 block of Ivy was arrested for cocaine possession and paraphernalia. Case # /16/07 12:23 Crescent and Putnam Officers Chad Campos and Victor Hui, Alemany Housing Officers, were on patrol on Crescent and Putnam when they spotted a suspicious vehicle with two occupants without a license plate. They stopped the vehicle and smelled marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Both occupants were extremely nervous and acting furtively. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed two loaded firearms under the driver's seat and the passenger seat. The suspects, who live on the 700 block of Anderson and the 100 block of Addison, were arrested on weapons charges. This arrest is a prime example of the excellent proactive work of Officers Chad Campos and Victor Hui. Case # /16/07 12:30 pm Mission and Maynard Sgt. James Miller stopped a vehicle for failing to yield to a pedestrian. The driver, who lives on the 400 block of Paris, was driving with a suspended license. He was cited and his 2002 Ford was towed. Case # /16/07 2:00 pm Moscow and Persia Officer Timothy Neves stopped a vehicle for a stop sign violation. The driver, who lives on the 100 block of Kiska, was unlicensed. 6 04/16/07 2:45 pm Lisbon and Avalon Officer Wendy Bear stopped a vehicle for a registration violation. The driver, who lives on the 900 block of Persia, was unlicensed. She was cited and her 1990 Ford was towed. Case # /16/07 8:16 pm 600 block of Miramar Officers Carla Lee, Ernest Wilberg, Shawn Phillips and Melonee Alvarez responded to a group home on the 600 block of Miramar where an assault suspect from three days prior had returned. The suspect had beaten a victim with a baseball bat. The suspect just left the premises when the officers arrived. Officers Phillips and Alvarez located the suspect at Ocean and Lee and arrested him for felony assault. Case # /16/07 9:21 pm 200 block of Brookdale Officers Armann Ramoso and Jason Gallagher investigated a traffic accident. One of the drivers, who lives on the 100 block of Tingley, was driving with a suspended license and was uninsured. He was cited and his 2004 Honda was towed. 8 04/17/07 12:50 am 2082 Alemany Officer Vincent Pedrini stopped a vehicle for impeding the flow of traffic. The driver, who lives on the first block of Niagra, was unlicensed. He was cited and his 1990 Nissan was towed. Case # /17/07 12:50 am 3350 Mission Officer Leonard Morrow arrested a shoplifter at Safeway. The suspect, who lives on the first block of 6th Street, was wanted on warrants charging burglary and threatening a police officer. He was also on felony probation. Case # /17/07 2:00 am 500 block of Naples Officers Kevin Chin and Vincent Pedrini arrested a husband for beating his wife. The suspect was charged with domestic violence. Case # /17/07 11:00 am First block of Blythdale Officers Mitchell Campbell and Nicholas Suslow went to the first block of Blythdale where a boyfriend had been harassing and threatening to kill his girlfriend. The officers located the suspect on the 200 block of Hahn and arrested him for criminal threats. Case # /17/07 11:15 am Mission and Geneva Officer Jude Rand stopped a vehicle for failing to yield to a pedestrian. The driver, who lives on the 900 block of Madrid, was unlicensed. He was cited and his 1991 Mazda was towed. Case # /17/07 2:48 pm 400 block of Gates Officers Amy Hurwitz and Chad Campos were on patrol when they passed by a residence on the 400 block of Gates. They spotted a person standing near a vehicle that had been "booted" for non-payment of parking tickets. The officers knew that the person was on county parole and concurrent county probation. They talked to the person and asked if they could look in his open garage. The person gave consent and the officers immediately saw a cardboard box inside the garage with a delivery from a clothes manufacturer with a different name on the box than the person they were questioning. After an investigation they found that expensive clothing from a company in Texas had been bought with stolen credit cards and shipped to the person's address. The officers then found suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia that the suspect admitted possessing. The suspect was booked 8
9 for receiving stolen property and drug charges. This arrest personifies the work that is done by Officers Hurwitz and Campos---alert officers who follow through to make an outstanding arrest. Case # /17/07 3:35 pm Mission and Ocean Officer Wendy Bear stopped a vehicle for speeding and a registration violation. The driver, who lives on the 200 block of Edinburgh, was unlicensed. He was cited and his 1990 Honda was towed. Case # /17/07 4:30 pm 200 block of London Officers Carla Lee and Robert Kobold arrested a husband for assaulting his wife after a dispute over the proper manner of mailing income taxes. Case # /17/07 6:00 pm 1500 block of Sunnydale Officers James Trail, Jeffrey Chang and Anthony Ravano were monitoring suspected gang members in the 1500 block of Sunnydale. They encountered one suspect, who had been previously admonished about loitering on Housing Authority property. They arrested the resident of the 300 block of Leland for trespassing. Case # /17/07 6:24 pm First block of Leese Officers Daniel Silver and Christopher Leong went to an address on the 100 block of Leese and arrested a fugitive on a drug warrant. Case # /17/07 8:50 pm First block of Norton Officers Daniel Silver, Christopher Leong, Jason Gallagher and Robin Odum went to a residence on the first block of Norton where a boyfriend had beaten his girlfriend, thrown a metal object at her and destroyed the telephone when she tried to call the police. The suspect was arrested on four felony charges. Case # /17/07 10:45 pm Hahn and Sunnydale Officer Michael Wibunsin stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. The driver, who lives on the first block of Teddy, was driving with a suspended license. He was cited and his 1995 Buick was towed. Case #

ARRESTS: 04/18/07 1:50 am 3200 block of Mission Officers Leonard Morrow, Chris Anderson, Kevin Chin, Michael Brown and Sgt. Frank Harrell responded to a stabbing and assault incident on the 3200 block of Mission where a group of suspects had confronted anaother group of men in front of a restaurant. A melee ensued where belt buckles and knives were pulled. A victim identified one suspect, who lives on the 2800 block of Folsom as one of the assailants, and he was arrested for felony assault. Another suspect, who had stabbed a second victim in the side, fled the scene. Case # /18/07 7:37 am Russia and Lisbon Officer Jude Rand stopped a vehicle for stop sign and speeding violations. The driver, who lives on the 600 block of Paris, was unlicensed. She was cited and her 1998 Jeep was towed. case # /18/07 9:00 am 300 block of Richland Officers Jennifer Marino, Michael Walsh and Timothy Neves went to an address on the 300 block of Richland where a man had struck his wife with his fists and then chased her down the street with a golf club threatening to strike her. The suspect, accompanied by his parole officer, turned himself in at Ingleside Station and was arrested for felony assault and a parole violation. 13 Officers James Trail and Craig Wilson observed two suspected gang members loitering on Housing Authority property. The residents of the 3000 block of San Bruno and 4800 block of Mission were admonished for trespassing and advised that in the future they would be subject to arrest. Case # /18/07 5:24 pm 1400 block of Sunnydale Officers Shawn Phillips, Nicholas Suslow, Craig Wilson and James Trail spotted a known gang member who has a stayaway order from a business on the 1400 block of Sunnydale loitering at the business. The resident of the 100 block of Jones was arrested. Case # /18/07 6:49 pm Precita and Bryant Officers Melonee Alvarez and Christopher Morris went to a fight between two girlfriends at Precita and Bryant. The victim had been beaten by the suspect. The officers arrested a resident of the 100 block of Tingley for domestic violence, felony assault, possession of suspected methamphetamine and for a warrant from the Daly City Police Department for auto theft, possession of narcotics and receiving stolen property. Case # /18/07 7:20 pm 5200 block of Mission A young woman was inside a laundromat on the 5200 block of Mission doing her clothes when two suspects, a man and woman, came into the establishment. The man demanded a dollar so the victim gave him a dollar. The woman then demanded to use the victim's cell phone and the victim refused. The suspects then grabbed the victim's purse and the victim fought with the suspects over the control of the purse and then the suspects pushed the victim and fled the area. Officers Eric Reboli, Dan Silver, Matt Sullivan, Dan Gibbs and Andy Cox responded and took the information from the victim and searched the area for the suspects. The victim spotted the suspects on Allison and Officers Cox and Gibbs narrowed their search in that area and found the suspects on Cross Street. The suspects, who refused to give their addresses, were booked for robbery, conspiracy and a probation violation. This was great police work. Case # /18/07 11:47 pm Mission and College Terrace Officers Carla Lee and Robin Odum stopped a vehicle for a registration violation. One of the occupants was wanted on a warrant charging reckless driving. The suspect lives on the 2800 block of 23rd Street. Case 13

Hector Jusino went to Safeway and arrested a shoplifter. The suspect, who has no permanent local address, was previously convicted of theft, so he was charged with a felony. 16 Officer Angelina Sanchez stopped a vehicle for a stop sign violation. The driver, who lives in Daly City, was driving with a suspended license and was uninsured. She was cited and her 1988 Jeep was towed. Case # /19/07 11:48 am San Jose and Santa Ynez Officer John Mulkern stopped a driver for a license plate violation. The driver, who lives on Liebig, was driving with a suspended license. He was cited and his 2001 Pontiac was towed. Case # /19/07 12:10 pm 1500 block of Sunnydale Officers Mike Peregoy, Craig Wilson, Joe Giannini and Raul Mendieta were flagged down by a female victim who had been pushed down some stairs, struck and then threatened. The officers arrested her boyfriend for false imprisonment, domestic violence and threats. Case # /19/07 12:15 pm 200 block of Blythdale Officers Christopher Porter and Shawn Fulgado went to the 200 block of Blythdale where a boyfriend had beaten his girlfriend. He was arrested for domestic violence. Case # /19/07 1:20 pm 4600 block of Mission Officers Mark Monpas and Gerald Thompson observed a vehicle parked on the street with irregular registration. The owner approached and the officers inquired about the car. They then found that the owner, who lives on the 500 block of Naples, was wanted on a misdemeanor warrant. She was also found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and narcotics paraphernalia. Case # /19/07 4:05 pm Britton and Visitacion Officers Daniel Gibbs and Andy Cox were on patrol when a driver almost hit their car while driving erratically. Officers Mike Peregoy, James Trail and Craig Wilson came to assist. The officers found that the driver was on parole and was in possession of illegal drugs. The resident of Celito Drive was arrested. Case # /19/07 5:25 pm Nevada and Cortland Officer Wendy Bear stopped a vehicle for a stop sign violation. The driver, who lives on the 1300 block of Cortland, was driving with a suspended 16
17 license. He was cited and his 1986 Nissan was towed. Case # /19/07 10:15 pm 700 block of Lisbon Officers Eric Reboli, Danielle Weidman and Captain Croce Casciato responded to a call of a person with a knife on the 700 block of Lisbon. The officers determined that there was an altercation inside a residence that had spilled out into the street. They also determined that three suspects, who are suspected gang members, were making threats with knives at a victim. The officers recovered two knives. The three suspects, who live on Lisbon and Woodward, were charged with criminal threats, brandishing a knife and gang affiliation. Case # /19/07 11:41 pm Mission and Russia Officer Peterkent DeJesus stopped a vehicle for driving over a double yellow line. The driver, who lives in South San Francisco, was driving with a suspended license. She was cited and her 2007 Chevrolet was towed. 20 04/20/07 12:20 am Fair and Mission Officer Robin Odum stopped a vehicle for a red light violation. The driver, who lives on the 1900 block of Fitzgerald, was unlicensed. He was cited and his 1988 Chrysler was towed. Case # /20/07 12:34 pm 500 block of Alemany Officers Kirk Yin and Mitchell Campbell arrested a local resident for a drug warrant from San Mateo County and admonished a resident of Concord for trespassing on Housing Authority property. Case # /20/07 3:30 pm Folsom and Crescent Officer Mitchell Campbell stopped a vehicle for a stop sign violation. The driver, who lives on the 1300 block of Revere, was driving with a suspended license. He was cited and his 2003 Nissan was towed. Case # /20/07 3:40 pm Putnam and Alemany Officers Dan Gibbs and Andy Cox were on plainclothes patrol near the Alemany Public Housing when they spotted a woman sleeping in a vehicle. They stopped to check on her well being and found that she was in possession of suspected methamphetamine. The suspect resides on the 900 block of Franklin.
