1 POLICE BLOTTER FOR DEC.1-15, /1-12/4 At 8:20 am officers were dispatched to Amtrak for a suspicious person. Sergeant Salamid contacted a male from Concord. He was arrested for a felony no bail Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) warrant and booked into the Main Detention Facility (MDF). Case# At 9:00 am officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Parkway Drive for a suspicious person. Officer Winslett contacted a female from Martinez. She was arrested for identity theft and violating probation. She was booked into MDF. Case# Sergeant Salamid responded to the 1000 block of Arlington Way for a motorbike that was stolen. The 2009 Kymco motorbike was stolen between 4:00 pm the previous night and 12:00 pm today. Case# At 9:30 am Officer Montano responded to the 400 block of Robinson Street for a report of a stolen car. The owner reported that during the night an unknown suspect took his 1989 Blue Honda Civic CA Lic #7GAR226. Case# At 7:31 pm officers responded to 600 Center Avenue for the report of a red Dodge Durango that crashed into the building. The male driver was trapped inside the vehicle and part of the wall had to be cut away by fire fighters. The driver was not injured and no one was home in the apartment. City engineers were called out and the building was not in any danger of collapsing. The driver was not under the influence. He stated he went to apply the brakes and accidently hit the accelerator. Case# Sergeant Moore responded to the 800 block of Arnold Drive for an auto burglary that occurred overnight. Case# Sergeant Ferrer responded to Franklin Canyon Park and Ride for a vehicle theft that had just occurred. A white male adult stole the 1994 Honda Civic and fled westbound on Franklin Canyon Road. Officers located additional witnesses who observed the vehicle on Cummings Skyway towards Crockett. Case# Officers were notified of a possible hazardous material in the creek behind the PG&E substation, 3999 Alhambra Avenue. There was a constant flow of a milky substance from an unknown source. HazMat and Fish and Game were notified. 12/4-12/5 At 7:37 pm, Officer Montano contacted a known female in the 1100 block of Ferry Street. The female had an outstanding warrant. She was arrested and booked into MDF. Case#

2 12/5-12/6 At 8:05 am Corporal Mayberry responded to Vintage Market on Alhambra Avenue for a report of a male subject using drugs. He contacted the subject, who was displaying signs of drug intoxication. Video footage also showed the subject using drugs. The subject was arrested and booked into MDF for being Under the Influence and a Probation Violation. Case# At 8:51 am Officer Lekse responded to Amtrak for a report of a battery. An unknown male subject punched the victim in the head and then fled on foot. The victim denied medical attention. There is no further information at this time. Case# At 9:25 am Officer Voyvodich responded to 500 Main Street for a report of a male who vandalized a car. The subject was contacted and arrested for Vandalism, Public Intoxication and Probation Violation. He was booked into MDF. Case# At 10:29 am Corporal Mayberry conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Ward Street. He contacted the female driver, who had a misdemeanor warrant for her arrest. She was cited and released at the scene. Case# /6-12/7 At 7:14 am Officer Voyvodich contacted a male subject in front of Marina Market. The subject was arrested and booked into MDF for Public Intoxication. Case# At 7:51 am Corporal Mayberry cited and released a male subject for Driving While Suspended. Case# At 8:00 am officers responded to a motel on Alhambra Avenue where an 80-year old male subject passed away of apparent natural causes. There was no coroner s hold. Case # At 12:20 pm Officer Brinser contacted an extremely intoxicated female in the 4000 block of Alhambra Avenue. She was transported to county hospital. Case# At 3:51 pm Sergeant Salamid contacted a male subject in the 600 block of Ferry Street. The subject was cited and released for a misdemeanor warrant. Case# At 7:34 pm Officer Breinig contacted a male subject with a misdemeanor warrant at Main Street and Ferry Street. The subject was booked into MDF. Case# At 11:44 pm Officer Vasquez responded to Verizon Wireless for an alarm. He found the front window had been smashed. The loss are headphones. Case# /7-12/8 At 8:10 am Commander Roth and Commander Ghisletta observed a male subject urinating in the 600 block of Main Street. Sergeant Salamid responded and the subject was cited and released for 372 PC (Public Nuisance). Case#

3 At 12:40 pm Officer Buda responded to Fitness Evolution, where several gym lockers had been pried open and personal items were taken from club members. Case# At 12:43 pm Officer Voyvodich contacted the same male subject that had been cited and released for urinating in public. The subject was in front of a business in the 600 block of Ferry Street. Officer Voyvodich had prior knowledge of the subject being warned for trespassing. He arrested the subject and cite released him from the scene. Case# At 5:29 pm Officer Voyvodich responded to a residence in the 2200 block of Boynton Avenue for a report of a non-responsive 54-year old female. The female was found deceased. Case# At 12:09 am officers responded to a residential burglary in the 4300 block of Alhambra Way. An unknown suspect pried open the back door and ransacked the interior while the resident was out. A Dell lap top and a 9 mm handgun was taken. Case# /8-12/11 Officer Winslett responded to the 2200 block of Foxhill Drive for an auto burglary. The loss was gym gear and work equipment. The point of entry was a window smash. Case# Officers responded to a three car collision on Alhambra Avenue at D Street. A male drove his vehicle north on Alhambra Avenue. He rear-ended a vehicle in front of him then drove into oncoming traffic, were he collided with another vehicle. The investigation is continuing. Case# Officers responded to Whiskey Lane (629 Ferry Street) for a request to walk through the bar due to a patron who was asked to leave. The patron who was asked to leave and another person got into a fight prior to PD arrival. The victim did not want police involvement and the suspect fled prior to PD arrival. At 7:47 pm, officers responded back for a report that five to six people were fighting in front of the business. The fight had dispersed prior to PD arrival and people contacted refused to make a report and did not desire any prosecution or arrests. Officers remained in the area as people left and there were no other incidents. Officers responded to 1150 Arnold Drive (Verizon Wireless) at 4:05 am for an alarm activation were three masked suspects were seen inside on video surveillance. The three suspects fled out the front door. Officers arrived, located the front door window smashed and an interior check revealed the business was ransacked and no one was inside. Case# Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a customer refusing to leave. Corporal Poertner contacted the male subject. He was arrested for a $5, misdemeanor warrant for DUI and cite released. Case#

4 12/11-12/12 At 1:46 hours, Officer Montano contacted a known female in the 3500 block of Pacheco Boulevard. The female had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. She was booked into MDF. Case# /12-12/13 At 1:46 pm Officer Voyvodich responded to Wendy s and contacted an adult female who was inhaling gas from a compressed gas tank. She was arrested and booked into MDF for 647(f) (Public Intoxication) and 381 PC (Possess Huffing Device). Case# At 4:39 pm Corporal Mayberry contacted a male subject in the 3600 block of Alhambra Avenue. The subject was arrested and booked into MDF for an outstanding warrant. Case# At 2:35 am Officer Breinig made a traffic stop at 50 Douglas. He arrested and cite released the male driver for possession of a controlled substance. Case# /13-12/14 At 11:24 am Corporal Mayberry contacted a male subject who had been making racial slurs toward others. The subject was arrested for 451(3) PC (Incite a Fight) and booked into MDF. Case# At 3:27 pm Corporal Mayberry responded to a residence in the 100 block of Berrellesa Street for a criminal threat where a subject sent video and pictures of a known male subject shooting at the victim s house. Officers located 7 expended shell casing nearby. There were no injuries or damage to report. This investigation is ongoing. Case# At 8:14 pm Officer Breinig responded to the 500 block of Main Street for a stolen vehicle report (Mazda). Case# /14-12/15 At 8:01 pm a male subject drove his vehicle into an air conditioning unit on Marina Vista Shell Avenue. He then fled the area in his vehicle. Officer Breinig conducted an enforcement stop at the Arthur Road exit from HWY 680. The driver was arrested and booked into MDF for a warrant, felony DUI, hit and run and other minor vehicle code charges. Case# Graveyard investigated a stolen vehicle the prior shift. The 1999 Chevrolet Blazer was stolen from the 1400 block of Hull Lane between 12/13 and 12/14. Officer Breinig identified the suspect. At 6:00 am Officer Breinig located the vehicle parked unoccupied in front of a residence in the 2000 block of Olympic Drive. Detective Williamson and Detective Espinosa surveilled the vehicle. At 6:45 am the vehicle left the residence occupied by two male subjects from Martinez. Officers stopped the vehicle on Trinity Court and detained them without incident. One subject was arrested for vehicle theft and possession of stolen property. The other subject was arrested for vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, possession of meth and violating probation. They were booked into the

5 Martinez Detention Facility (MDF). Case# Officer Voyvodich responded to the 800 block of Howe Road for the attempted theft of a 2003 Toyota pick-up truck sometime on 12/13/2017. Case# Sergeant Salamid responded to 600 Ferry Street for a restraining order violation in progress. He contacted the suspect who was on scene. He was arrested for the violation. Case# At 12:30 pm Sergeant Gaul was investigating a theft from 401 Ferry Street. During the investigation he contacted a male subject from Martinez. He was arrested for two misdemeanor warrants. $3, for drug possession and $5, for drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. The subject was cite released. Case# At 4:40 pm officers were dispatched to Wells Fargo regarding a fraudulent check. Sergeant Salamid contacted the subject and arrested him for forgery. The subject was cite released. Case# At 5:00 pm Officer Montano located an unoccupied stolen 1994 Honda Civic at 1155 Arnold Drive. The vehicle was reported stolen to our agency on 12/3/2017. Case# At 10:35 pm officers responded to the area of Brown Street and Ferry Street for a report of a hit and run. The victim followed the vehicle and lost sight of it. Sergeant Busciglio located the suspect vehicle and stopped it on Castro Street near Soto Street. As he approached, the vehicle fled. The vehicle was seen by Officer Miller passing him the wrong way (south) on Alhambra Avenue near Soto Street. The vehicle was then located in the Safeway parking lot and officers pulled in behind it. As officers started to exit their vehicles, the suspect backed into one patrol car then hit the opened driver s door of the other. Officer Miller and Officer Sanders pursued the suspect to Serrano Street and the vehicle collided with a tree. The suspect tried to flee on foot and Officer Miller tackled the suspect who was arrested. The suspect was a male out of Vallejo. He was intoxicated on both alcohol and marijuana. He was arrested and booked into MDF for two counts of felony assault with a deadly weapon, felony resisting officers, two felony evading charges, three felony driving under the influence charges, misdemeanor hit and run and a misdemeanor probation violation.
