Proposals will be opened and reviewed by Staff on January 30. at 11:05 A.M. A recommendation to Council for approval will be held at the February 8 th,2018 regular Council meeting. - Descriptive literature must be attached. - All proposals must be on Township Forms, clearly marked and addressed to the undersigned. - Lowest or any proposal not necessarily accepted, subject to budget approval. 3 SPECIFICATION AND CONFIRMATION MOTOR GRADER - AWD - ARTICULATED GENERAL These specifications cover a motor grader used in the maintenance of highways and municipal roads. These specifications cover only the major details of a unit. It is the supplier s responsibility to deliver a fully equipped unit with compatible components to provide dependable efficient service. Nomenclature shall be to SAE Standard J870 unless otherwise stated. Units shall be supplied only with graders standard or advertised optional engine. Graders with nonadvertised or altered engine horsepower settings will not be accepted. Only currently advertised and factory approved engine and drive train combinations are acceptable. PROPOSED UNITS MUST COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS IN ALL ASPECTS.
