2 Ski Sheet The Ski Sheet allows non-ambulant patients to be quickly and safely evacuated in the event of an emergency. The sheet remains in place under the individuals mattress at all times, allowing it to be instantly accessible. The straps of the Ski Sheet are stored in pockets on the underside of the Ski Sheet. Once the straps have been accessed and secured, the Individual can then be moved off the bed using the head/ foot end handles and taken to safety. Features include; pockets for storing the cross straps, elastic corner straps for attaching sheet to the mattress, pulling handles at each end and seat belt style webbing. straps and metal buckles. Ski Pad The Ski Pad has been designed for use in confined areas, where space is limited, such as congested hospital wards and buildings with narrow corridors or single width fire doors. In an emergency the Ski Pad is easily removed from its wall mountable storage bag. The individual is then quickly transferred to the Ski Pad and secured in place with seatbelt style straps. The tough, slippery, vinyl coated base means that the pad moves easily over most floor surfaces, so the individual can be safely and quickly evacuated. Features include; foot pocket at both ends, 50mm thick foam pad to protect the individual while being moved, seat belt style webbing straps and metal buckles, pulling handles at each end and wall mountable, wipe clean storage bag. 2

3 Ski Sled The Ski Sled is designed for the safe horizontal and vertical evacuation of non-ambulant individuals, for use in areas where space is limited, such as congested hospital wards and buildings with narrow corridors or single width fire doors The tough, slippery base (which is different to that of the Ski Pad) enables individuals to be moved easily over virtually any surface, indoors or outdoors. The foam pad and the internal nylon support struts give protection to the individual while being moved. Features include; foot pocket, seat belt style webbing straps and metal buckles, pulling handles at each end, 30mm thick foam pad and wall mountable, wipe clean storage bag. Ski Slide Pad The Ski-Slide-Pad has evolved from one of our best known products, the Ski Pad. Designed for use in areas of restricted space, such as congested hospital wards, care homes and other buildings with narrow corridors and/or single width fire doors. The main feature of the Ski-Slide-Pad is the built in slide sheet, which is fitted on both sides of the pad for ease of transfer from bed/floor onto the pad this is especially useful for individuals who require greater assistance during the transfer process. The slide sheets can also be used as an extra cover, where exterior evacuation is required. Features Include; pulling handle at each end, seat belt style webbing straps and metal buckles, large foot pocket, built in slide sheet, 25mm foam pad, hard polyethylene base and wall mountable, wipe clean storage bag. 3

4 Bariatric EvacMat The Bariatric EvacMat is designed for the evacuation of bariatric and large individuals from locations such as hospital wards or other public or private buildings in the event of an emergency. The Bariatric EvacMat has colour coded cross straps which keep the individual securely cocooned and the body weight held in place to make the movement of the EvacMat more stable. Due to its many ladder handles the personnel involved can adopt good working posture, reducing the risk of injury to themselves, whilst colour coded anchor points give the option for the use of ropes, enabling extra control where needed. It has a tough polyethylene base board allowing it to move easily over indoor and outdoor surfaces for the horizontal or vertical evacuation of bariatric and large individuals. EMS Bariatric EvacMat The EMS Bariatric EvacMat has been designed for use by the emergency services as an aid to the rescue and evacuation of large individuals. It is an ideal choice where this type of work is concerned, as it provides a solution to body mass stabilisation, whilst enabling crews to slide them to safety, including via staircases, without the need for heavy lifting involved. EMS Bariatric EvacMat has many additions not available on the standard EvacMat. These include, completely colour coded handles and anchor points, extra (loose) ladder handles, low and high positioning handles, a replaceable sliding base board, a clever internal pocket allowing for the insertion of a Bariatric spinal long board and a slide sheet for ease of transfer. 5 Buscot BabEvac Cot The Buscot BabEvac cot is designed for the emergency evacuation of premature and new-born babies in the event of fire or other emergency. The Buscot can carry up to two babies per cot depending on size and Conditions of the babies. Features secure storage for small oxygen cylinder (cylinder not included), webbing straps with plastic buckles and a wall mountable, wipe clean storage bag. Evacuation Straps Evacuation straps are designed as an aid for mattress evacuation. The straps secure the mattress around the individual so that they can be safely moved from the bed and out of danger in an emergency. The straps are made of two inch wide seat belt style webbing with metal buckles attached and are used in pairs. Strap storage cases are also available in various sizes. Smokers Protective Cover The Smokers Cover is designed to be worn as an apron. It is often purchased by carers of individuals with Parkinsons and Huntingdons disease, to prevent them from burning their clothes and furniture. The large lap cover has side panels to prevent cigarettes and ash from slipping between chair and smoker. The cover securely attaches with snap fasteners but can be quickly removed. Made from Titan Fabric, the fabric will char but not ignite. It will not shrink, melt or drip in open flame and does not restrict normal movements. 5

6 EGO Evacuation Chair The Ego Evacuation chair, is a great low budget chair which enables evacuation to be put into effect quickly by only one operator. The Ego is easy to open and offers instant deployment on two wheels. The unique stair blade track offers superb grip and control, making it easy to use and travel down stairs.
