Whether you re a Packer Fan or not, you ll have to admit that they bring a lot of revenue and fun times to our lodge. Revenue that keeps the lights on and the doors open so we can continue to keep the lights burning brightly at Mooseheart and Moosehaven. We have fun at the lodge, enjoying each other s company and enjoying reasonable prices of food and beverages in the Social Quarters. The special dinners, raffles, dart and shuffle board leagues, golf outings and all the other events that enable us to fulfill our commitments. Commitments to helping give the children at Mooseheart a second chance in life. Commitments to giving our seniors at Moosehaven the comforts they deserve in the twilight of their lives. Commitments to help make our communities a better place in which to live. When we joined this great fraternity we took a solemn oath to uphold the promises we made to the children and seniors in our care. We need your help not only supporting the lodge but also leading the membership of our lodge. The tasks of leadership are spread out in the offices of the lodge so no one person has to bear all the burden. We need members to step forward to help fill the offices of the lodge. Without leadership our lodge will cease to exist and we will have failed in our oath. The lodge nominating committee is made up of the current lodge officers, past Governors and members. They meet to consider any requests to run for an office of the lodge. Please consider putting your name in for election. We will have a Lodge Leadership class held at the Radisson Hotel, on March 2 nd 2017 at 9am, free of charge, for anyone interested. The class will last all day with lunch served at noon. There is no obligation to run for an office in the lodge when you take this course, but it is required if you wish to hold an office in the lodge. This course will teach you what it takes to operate a moose lodge and the responsibilities of each officer and chairman. How we can increase and retain membership. Also what it takes to make a moose lodge successful. The more informed our members become the stronger our lodge becomes. Now we would like to tell you about our very successful Adopt-a family this last Christmas. The family was bowled over by the generosity of our members. They couldn t believe all those presents were for them. Everyone that participated in buying presents; and some of you bought multiple presents, made it possible for that family to have a Very Merry Christmas. We are very proud of you, our members, for stepping up and helping others at a time we they need your help most. Thank You for All that you do! Bay Area Community Blood Drive A Blood Drive is held every Friday from 7:30 AM until 12:30 PM at the Ramada Plaza at 2750 Ramada Way in the Conference Rooms. Stop by and make a donation. By taking part, you are helping the Red Cross maintain a reliable blood supply and help save lives! To schedule an appointment, please call or visit Thanks to all of you who take the time from your busy schedules to donate.

15 Senior Regent s Notes Dear Co-Workers and Friends, Hope you all had a nice New Year s Eve! The party here at the lodge was very nice, there was plenty of good food, music and cheers to go around. Thanks to all who helped out to make the party a success. This is what we need is participation for events to be successful. It's hard to believe there are only 3 more months left to this chapter year. Another year of successful events for the WOTM!! Wahoo give your selves a pat on the back if you were a part of any of these great events. We can always say we at least know how to have a good time and still raise money for our charities---you guys are the best!! With that in mind we will be looking for officers again for the upcoming year If you or anyone you know may be interested in becoming one of the officers please submit your name and position you are interested in to the nominating committee. The first & second nominating committee meetings will be held on the following dates Feb 6 th 6:15 and Feb 20 th 6:15. If you have any questions about any of the positions you can see either myself or any other officer of the chapter. We have many activities coming up again in February. You will want to check your calendars and social quarters for any further updates or question. On Feb 5 th that of course is Super Bowl Sunday and there will be the usual Super Bowl party - watch for more details to come. And of course GO PACK GO!! February 11 th will be the Candlelight Dinner, on Feb 18 th will be our bimonthly Birthday Dinner and a chili cook-off in the afternoon. And then Feb 25 th is going to be a Mexican Night. So a very busy month for February -- again watch for more details on all events to come and mark your calendars if you would like to participate or even help out as a volunteers. We all know how much volunteers are always needed. Again I must say your work does not go unnoticed. I do appreciate everything every one of you do to help out. Again without that participation we would not be able to keep up our tax free status. So once again KUDOS---for all the help anyone has provided throughout the whole year.
