We are very pleased to be your host and hope you have a great experience at Valley Finals. We are hopeful that this Team Packet will provide you with the information your team needs to plan for the day in Porterville and Granite Hills High School Swim Complex. 3 Map to Granite Hills High School 1701 East Putnam Avenue, Porterville CA From the North: Take SR99 south to Tulare. Take (exit 87) Hwy 137. exit. Turn left. Hwy 137 turns into CA 65 and drive (approx.. 19 miles). Take Olive Ave exit, turn left. When Olive St dead-ends, turn left (Plano Ave). Turn right on Putnam. Follow Putnam and school will be on your left.!
4 Pool Site Map & Camp Assignments Please see attached maps. Note that Tent City will be located in the baseball diamond area west of the pool. General parking will be in the east parking lot and parking lot on Putnam at the north end of the pool by the football field. There will be NO EARLY set up on Friday 17 th. NO Camping or Canopies allowed inside the pool deck area, on the stadium seating or on the grass area above the stadium seating. PARKING Parking will be limited to the parking lot on Putnam Avenue next to the football stadium north of the pool. Street parking along Putnam Avenue and the dirt area next to the solar farm on Putnam Avenue. There will also be street parking along Olive Street and the parking lot just outside the swimming complex east of the pool. Parking lot in basketball courts is reserved for officials and coaches only. This parking lot is also a drop off area for tents, etc. to be taken to Tent City. Please drop off and move vehicle quickly. Unless you are a coach or official, you must leave the parking lot and park elsewhere. RV s: Overnight stays are not allowed on school property. It is our understanding that Wal-Mart accommodates overnight stays in their parking lot. RV Parking: RV parking will be in the designated area on Putnam Avenue north of the pool by the solar panel farm. No overnight parking

8 Timers & Recorders Lane Assignments Four volunteers needed per lane per shift. Morning shift is from the start of the meet until lunch break (event 38). The afternoon shift lasts from after lunch until the end of the meet. There will be a morning shift and an afternoon shift. Please be at the stroke and turn meeting at 8:00AM for further information and assignment times.
9 T-Shirts & Programs In order to provide T-Shirts and Programs in the most efficient manner we will need some help from you. T-Shirts The shirts will have screens on both the front and the back. Swimmers names will be on the back of the shirts. Please provide names of swimmers that have qualified for Finals to by Tuesday July 14 at 3:00 p.m. They can be in Word, pdf, or in excel. T-shirts will be made to order on site. Pre-ordered Programs by July 14, 2015, at noon. Programs can be paid for on the morning of the meet with one team check made payable to Porterville Hurricanes. Please make only one order per team. Program order is available in this packet. Program Ads This year we will be accepting program ads. In the event that members of your team want to place an ad or encouraging note to their swimmer, we will need a copy ready ad and ad fee received by Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at noon. Please note that all ads will be printed in black and white. An advertising order is available in this packet. Each team will be given 4 deck passes and 2 lunch tickets. Hospitality will be available throughout the meet.
