Make your way to the NUS Registration desk in the Students Union reception Are meals and refreshments provided? All meals and refreshments are provided for the duration of the course; please see the agenda for allocated times. If you registered with special dietary requirements please make yourself known to the NUS Events staff. Any drinks or additional extras will not be paid for by NUS. What time will the event finish? on Thursday 21 July 2016 Do I need to bring anything with me? Parent/guardian form if under 18 Completed personal details form (attached) Clothes and personal belongings for three days away Suitable outdoor clothing for evening activity Waterproofs advisable as we can never predict the weather A phone or tablet may be helpful Money for any drinks or additional extras What should I do if I have a problem? Before the event please contact events@nus.org.uk At the event if you have any problems or need advice or help please let a member of NUS staff know and they will be happy to assist you wherever possible. NUS staff will be identifiable by blue lanyards and there will also be a conference phone available for any out of hours problems/emergencies.

3 Is accommodation provided? Accommodation is provided for the duration of this course. If you require accommodation the night before the event (Monday 18 July 2016), you will have the option to select this on the registration form. This will be at a charge of VAT and will be added to the final invoice. Invoices will be sent out after the event.

4 Personal details Please fill in this form and hand it to a member of NUS staff at Registration. Your personal information will be required in the unlikely event of any medical emergency. Please ensure that these details are of someone who could collect you in the middle of the night if it is a students union staff member, please ask them if they would be happy to do this. 5 Travel and Directions Additional travel information can be obtained from the following: Websites Telephone National Rail enquiries: First Bus: National Bus enquiries: National Express Coaches: By Rail Lincoln railway station is in the city centre, just a few minutes' walk from the Brayford Pool campus. Direct trains to London Kings Cross take just under two hours. There are also frequent rail connections to other major cities, including London, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester and Leeds. When you arrive at the station, turn left out of the main entrance and keep walking, cross over the road, you will walk past an NCP car park, at the end of this road you will see the University straight ahead from you on the other side of the road. By Bus The University is only 7 minutes walk away from the bus station. Go straight ahead out of the entrance, cross the road and turn right, the train station is on your left. Then follow the directions above. By Car Road access is via the A1 with intersections at Newark (A46) from the South and near Retford (A57) from the North. The city is 40 miles east of Nottingham on the A46 and 40 miles south of the Humber Bridge on the A15. Lincoln is less than an hour's drive from the M1.
