VISAS Passport holders from all countries except New Zealand must have a pre-issued Visa and a valid passport to enter Australia. Passports must be valid for at least six (6) months after your planned arrival into Australia. Visitors from different countries require different visas: some are free of charge; most are not. You must apply for your visa well in advance either online or at your nearest Australian Embassy or Consulate, as some Visitor Visas can take several weeks to process.
