If you are a resident of the Shire, aged 65 and over, or the carer of a local senior, and you would like to have your say about what seniors need in your area we would love to hear from you.

Together with a few songs associated with the crooners of American popular music such as Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland. There will be some classic swing numbers but most of the music is included simply because it s beautiful. A delightful afternoon of music! Live and Local Country Music with Steve Cheers Saturday 14 April 2pm to 4pm Bowral Memorial Hall Bendooley Street, Bowral (accessible by wheelchair, accessible toilet) Afternoon drinks and nibbles provided Group bookings available for 10 or more people Local country music singer songwriter Steve Cheers and his band present songs from his latest album The Measure of a Man and more. In the last few months, three of Steve s songs have appeared on the Australian Country Top 40 Chart.

The forum will include speakers and presentations on the Five Ways to Wellbeing - Connect, Give, Keep Learning, Be Active, Take Notice. 65 Plus Safe Senior Drivers Tuesday 10 April 12 to 3pm Robertson Community Technology Centre Hoddle Street, Robertson (accessible by wheelchair, accessible toilet) Participants are invited to attend a BBQ lunch provided by the Robertson Men s Shed prior to the workshop Afternoon tea to follow The two-hour session will be presented by Council s Road Safety Officer and local driving instructor and includes discussions about safe driving, information on driving tests, driver licence options and current road rules. Come along and have lunch with members from Robertson Men s Shed before the workshop!
10 Come and Try Lawn Bowls Aqua Class Wednesday 11 April to 11.30am Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre Kirkham St, Moss Vale (accessible by wheelchair, accessible toilet) This class is for current nonmembers with morning tea after the class This class will help shape muscle and burn calories by using water as a resistance, aqua equipment is used to increase the intensity. Working in water reduces the risk of injury. A great fun way to keep fit and meet new people. Suitable for nonswimmers through to experienced aqua goers.
