2 ALL INCLUSIVE PROGRAM years old Antibes / Juan-les-Pins is a safe and prosperous town with plenty to do by both day and night, and is our most popular destination with younger students. Located between Nice and Cannes, it s a junior version of Saint- Tropez and the place to be at that age. All inclusive programs including standard course, full board accommodation (campus or host family), activities and excursions, transfers to and from Nice airport or Antibes train station, security and supervision. «LE CHÂTEAU» SCHOOL FRENCH COURSE CAMPUS HORTICOLE FRENCH COURSE Students may choose: Standard Course 20 lessons x 45 min./ week Monday to Friday (except on the first Monday). From 9.00 am to pm (15 min break); 15 students maximum in a class. Intensive Course 26 lessons x 45 min./ week Monday to Friday (except on the first Monday). From 9.00 am to pm (15 min break); 15 students maximum in a class. From 1.45 pm to 4.00 pm (twice per week); 8 students maximum in a class. DELF Course 26 lessons x 45 min./ week Minimum Entry level: A2 Monday to Friday (except on the first Monday). From 9.00 am to pm (15 min break); 15 students maximum in a class. From 1.45 pm to 4.00 pm (twice per week); 8 students maximum in a class. Session dates: / / / OUT OF SUMMER Students take courses in our school «Le Château». RESIDENCE ACCOMMODATION (OUT OF SUMMER) CASTEL ARABEL RESIDENCE Situated in a quiet area between Antibes and Juan-les-Pins: 10 min by walk from the beaches and the centre of Juan-les-Pins. Outdoor swimming pool opens from April to October, a large garden and terraces. Full Board: breakfast and lunch in the restaurant of the school. Dinner in the restaurant of the residence. Accommodation in shared (2-4 students) room with private bathroom and air-conditioning. COULEURS SOLEIL RESIDENCE Situated in the center of Juan-les-Pins: 5 min by walk from the beaches. Full Board: breakfast and lunch in the restaurant of the school. Dinner in the restaurant of Castel Arabel residence (10 minutes by walk). Accommodation in shared (4 students) studios with private bathroom, equipped kitchenette, balcony, airconditioning, TV. CAMPUS ACCOMMODATION (SUMMER) HORTICOLE A modern campus, on the east side of Antibes in a quiet area and surrounded by a large garden: A shuttle bus is provided from the campus to the beaches and the center of Antibes. On site: classrooms, accommodation, a large self-service restaurant, a mobile swimming pool, and outdoor sports grounds. Full Board: breakfast, lunch and dinner (buffet style). Packet lunch at week-ends. Accommodation in shared (4 students) room with common facilities situated on each floor (showers, sinks and toilets). LEONARDO DA VINCI In the north of Antibes, situated in a quiet and green environment: A shuttle bus is provided from the campus to the beaches and the center of Antibes. On site: classrooms, accommodation, a large self-service restaurant, a mobile swimming pool, and outdoor sports grounds. Full Board: breakfast, lunch and dinner (buffet style). Packet lunch at week-ends. Accommodation in shared (3 students) room with sinks and a shower. Common toilets on each floor. 3

4 LEONARDO DA VINCI HOST FAMILY In general, rooms are closed as below (definitive schedule will be posted on campus) : FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY From 8:15am to 12:00pm: during French lessons From 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm: during the activities/excursions From 8:30 pm to 10:15 pm: during the evenings ON WEEKENDS From 9:30 am to 5:00 pm: during full day excursion / free day From 8:30 pm to 10:15 pm: during the evenings HOST FAMILY ACCOMMODATION Total immersion in French culture enables students to learn the language on a day-to-day basis. All of our families are situated in Antibes/Juan les Pins. Full board: breakfast and dinner in the host family, lunch in the restaurant of the school. Packet lunch at week-ends. Accommodation in a double room. IMPORTANT NOTES Bed linen is provided and changed weekly. Towels are not provided. Light clean is done each day and a thorough clean weekly. Students are responsible for their rooms and must keep them reasonably clean and tidy. We cannot guarantee the allocation of a particular residence whatever your registration dates. However, please feel free to specify your preferences and we will do our best. We confirm the student s accommodation 4 weeks before the student s arrival. 4

5 WEEKLY ACTIVITY PROGRAM On their arrival, the students receive a welcome pack including a weekly program of activities (sample on p.7). 1 HALF-DAY EXCURSION Cannes: Famed for its palaces, its luxury hotels and its Palais des Festivals. The visit lasts around 1h and includes old town, the Suquet mountain with the sightseeing, the Film Festival Palace and the Croisette beach. OR The Lerins Islands: The Iles de Lérins is a small archipelago just off the coast of Cannes and part of the commune of Cannes. The tour lasts around 1 hour and includes the visit of the Fort of St Marguerite Island and the sea museum. OR Marineland: One of the biggest oceanariums in the world. Students spend around 2h30 in the in the park enjoying numerous spectacles with whales, dolphins, etc. 1 FULL-DAY EXCURSION AT THE WEEK-END Monaco: The Principality of Monaco is a city of luxury and beauty which has many specific characteristics and it is specially known for its Casino. The tour lasts around 1 hour and includes the visit of the royal palaces, the cathedral, the Gardens and the Casino. OR Nice: The capital of the French Riviera, both elegant and simple, Nice s charm comes from its exceptional climate as well as its beauty. The tour lasts around 1hour and includes the visit of the the old town and the castle tower. OR Aquasplash: The largest water park on the French Riviera with numerous pools. Students have the whole day to enjoy this aquatic park (11 am to 5 pm). 5

6 1 SAILING AFTERNOON PER WEEK A sailing session of 1h30 accompanied by an instructor from the FFV (French Sailing Federation). 1 SPORT AFTERNOON PER WEEK Our monitors organize different sports like football tournaments, beach volley, footing, aqua gym, Ping-Pong, basketball, sport themed activities. EVENING ENTERTAINMENTS A «barbecue» or themed meal, disco party, games, cabarets, shows, etc. IMPORTANT NOTES All our activities are strongly recommended but not mandatory. After each excursion students have some free time to enjoy the place by themselves. According to the school activities schedule the full day excursion may be organized on Sunday. The free day takes pace then on Saturday. Student accommodated in host family will spend evenings with their host family except for parties organized on campus or residence (barbecue party on Monday and evening party on Friday) 6

8 KIOSK ACTIVITIES We organize extra mural programs (Kiosk) that provide students with additional activities. Example: Laser Game Bowling...18 Antibes Land... 5 Cinema... 8 Please note that in most cases a minimum of participants is required to organize the activity and the prices are subject to change. TRANSFERS Arrival and departure transfers are included in the package from / to: Nice airport Antibes train station Note: transfers are only included during the week-end. There is an extra cost for transfers on week days (p.9) SECURITY AND SUPERVISION Students are supervised by our monitors who are on the premises round the clock and ready to help and give information. Security 24/ years old students are automatically authorized to go out unaccompanied from the end of the courses until 7.30pm years old students with the signed parental authorization can go out as follows: 8.30 pm 11 pm Tuesday or Wednesday 8.30 pm 01 am Friday, Saturday and eve of public holiday 8
