Info call: Judy Dunkle, THANK YOU Dear Extended Arbor Gate Family, There are no words to describe the concern and love for our family at this tragic time in Bob s and my life. The phone calls, cards, food gifts, flowers and attendance at our church service for our son, Bobby, was phenomenal. All of you held us UP. It was a beautiful day that Bob and I will never forget. Our son, Steven, cannot believe the outpour of love for us and our community. Thank you, Aggie and Bob Klick Our son, Bobby, is at peace now. God bless all of you.

3 Page 3 Lakeview Center Newsletter LAKEVIEW CENTER RESIDENT MEETING - June 12, Condensed Version Paul Steel opened the Business Meeting at 7:00 PM with the Pledge of Allegiance. Board members present were Paul Steel, Iva Jean Conley, Phil Viveiros, John Wissinger, Russ Kunkle, and Elaine McGrath. Art Kearney was absent. TREASURER S REPORT: Phil Viveiros, Treasurer read the Income and Expense Report for May May shows an account balance of $10, with an available balance of $5, Phil emphasized that the Board will not absorb the cost of any missed trips by residents who have signed up. This will be announced in the upcoming Newsletter. COFFEE SHOP: Renee Vaillancourt reported the hours of business and that more volunteers are needed. The coffee shop is closed on Thursdays. WELCOME/HOSPITALITY: Carol Ulsh, Chair reported on the new residents. *See Newsletter* NEWSLETTER: Paul Steel reported that the deadline to make your submission is the 15th of each month. In addition, he stated that whatever you submit must have your name on it and you cannot use someone else s name. ACTIVITIES: John Wissinger, Liaison reported in Virginia Lamendola s absence. *See Newsletter for upcoming events* Iva Jean reported the Doggie Meet & Greet was a success and plenty of donations went to the Humane Society. Joan Viveiros reported the Yard Sale was a success. Jubilee did not pick up from all households and will not return. Households missed need to drop off their donations at their place of choice. Next year we will use Blue Mountain for donation pick-up. LIBRARY/GAME ROOM: Helen Ostertag, Librarian reported that she sold old DVD s and Videos from the library at the yard sale. All proceeds went to the Arbor Gate Treasury and unsold items were taken by Jean Ebneter to the Humane Society. EMERGENCY SERVICES: Russ Kunkle will be placing information in the Newsletter for the upcoming CPR training. SUNSHINE COMMITTEE: Barbara Weiss reported for Mary Leh. *See Newsletter* The Sunshine Lady for July is Barbara FITNESS/POOL ROOM: Russ K reported that he has asked Tom Sarisky to speak to James about fixing the pockets on the pool tables and a bump on one of the tables. REAL ESTATE: Iva Jean gave the report submitted by Eleanor Quinn. There are 7 properties for sale, 7 sale pending and we welcomed 7 new families to Arbor Gate. Sale prices ranged between $129,000 to $179,900. OLD/NEW BUSINESS: None to report, however in closing, Paul S. reminded the residents that we are an Activities Committee Board, not management. Any issues outside of activities should be take to Alden Management. The next scheduled Resident Meeting will be Monday, July 10, 7 PM. Meeting 7:35 PM with a motion by Jack Monahan. Donations can be brought to the center any time between 10 AM and 4 PM on July 18 or before 11 AM on the 19th FLOWERS WANTED Yep, I said flowers! We are looking for flowers from our neighborhood gardens to help decorate for the Ladies 1920 s Luncheon on July 19. Whether or not you plan to attend, flowers, herbs, leaves, ivy, etc. will be welcome to make centerpieces for the luncheon and decorate the room in general. High Notes from the Music Club The Arbor Gate Music Club is now opening auditions for Music, Music, Music, featuring songs from the 50 s. You must sign up in the activity room by August 23rd to take part. Sign up by July 31st. There will be room for 16 players, any more than that will be subs. We can always use subs. If you only want to be a sub, write sub after your name and phone number. We will play through December 15, and take a month off.
