1 The Ranch Malibu is a results oriented fitness and wellness program dedicated to attaining and sustaining a healthy and vibrant lifestyle. The retreat supports guests through outdoor hiking and physical activity, exercise sessions, and a structured nutritional diet of homegrown, fresh organic vegetarian fare. In as little as one week, guests will shed unwanted pounds, gain physical endurance, tone up and detoxify their body in a healthy and sustainable way, all while getting off the grid and back to nature. LOCATION Set on the original silent movie actor Hopalong Cassidy s historic working ranch, The Ranch Malibu spans 120 acres of native grounds, hiking trails, picturesque views and authentic splendor. The property is located in Malibu, California three miles above the Pacific Ocean in the Santa Monica Mountains. It is 1:15 hours from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and 45 minutes from Santa Monica. Transfers to and from The Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica and return to LAX are included. PROGRAM & RESULTS With a no-options philosophy, the highly effective program includes 8 hours of exercise daily, with challenging physical activities that prove rewarding and fun. A dedicated and experienced staff tends to your every need. While at The Ranch Malibu, guest s time will be spent in low impact constant activity, rather than short bursts of intense, injury-prone activity. Each morning, guests awaken at 5:30 a.m. for morning stretches, followed by a four- to five-hour group hike winding through the Santa Monica Mountain terrain. With 200-plus trails varying in levels of difficulty, guests are treated to varying hikes each day. After lunch, guests are delighted to nap before an active afternoon filled with core and ab work, weight training sessions, water classes, daily massage, and group yoga and stretching. Many of the activities allow guests to connect with nature s healing elements, taking place outdoors, or within the property s open-air romper room.

The Ranch is all about stimulating mind and body through sustainable exercise which will enhance metabolism, cleanse and detoxify the body, allow for a healthy loss of fat, and offer a heightened sense of mental clarity and serenity. Guests desiring to lose weight, routinely shed unwanted pounds during the program while visibly losing inches, emanating a vibrant, healthy glow, and getting a dramatic head start on maintaining a path of healthy living. v ACCOMMODATIONS The Ranch Malibu encompasses the ranch house for gathering and meals, a certified organic farm, open-air kitchen, outdoor pool and spa, yoga room and exercise pavilion (Romper Room). Following an invigorating day, The Ranch s cottage-style guest rooms offer an inviting and calm respite. Interiors are rustic yet refined, designed in soothing, earthy tones inspired by the Santa Monica Mountain backdrop. CUISINE A 1,400-caloric daily diet consists of gourmet farm-to-table fare with global influences. Flavorful and healthy, cuisine emphasizes fresh, organic ingredients designed to sustain and detoxify. No alcohol, caffeine, or processed sugars are served, and special diets and food allergies are accommodated. Dining at The Ranch Malibu is communal. Weather permitting, meals are often served outdoors in the Malibu countryside or at the beach. Chef Nina Curtis welcomes guests to observe cooking preparations and is available to answer nutrition and food questions throughout the week. In Friday s cooking class, she spends time instructing the guests how to make nutritious meals at home.

3 RATES & POLICIES The program begins Sunday at 1:00PM through Saturday at 10:00AM and includes all meals; daily hikes; fitness classes; daily massage (Mon-Fri); cooking and nutrition classes; transportation as required throughout guests stay; garden and farm tour; complimentary water throughout the week; and transportation to and from The Fairmont Miramar to the property. Upon departure, guests can also be dropped off at LAX. The all-inclusive weekly rate, excluding gratuities, which are discretionary, is $7,200 January - June and $6,800 July - December. Some guests may choose to stay for multiple weeks depending upon their individual goals. The Ranch accommodates up to 18 guests weekly, ensuring personalized attention. A 30-day Pre-arrival itinerary of exercise, diet, and wellness tasks is sent to guests and is recommended by The Ranch for most effective results. ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS: THE RANCH 4.0 The Ranch 4.0 is a shortened version of our acclaimed weeklong program and takes place at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village and California Health & Longevity Institute. It was designed as a jumpstart program for guests unable to take a week off and for those who need to stay more connected during their stay. The no options low impact program includes 8 hours of exercise daily, a cooking class and important medical diagnostic testing. Guests will enjoy hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains, yoga, strength training, and relaxing massages. The cost of this program is $3,900. The Ranch 4.0 also supports and accommodates takeover group weeks and specially tailored corporate retreats. Enjoy freshly prepared, organic, nutrient-dense meal plans that are gluten, dairy, GMO and meat free yet full of flavor and delivered right to your door. We offer complete nutrition through 3, 4 and 5 day meal plans with dishes based on tried and tested favorites from our guests. I have never experienced vegan meals before and everyone of them was delicious. I made many new discoveries about food and hot to eat healthier. The classes were fun, the massages delightful and the stretching class was so good! Love the staff. They were motivating, knowledgable and always ready to help. I will be back next year! The past week has been incredible. The hikes were challenging and the food was absolutely delicious. I hope to take home many of the things that I have learned here at the Ranch and incorporate it into my daily life. Overall, AMAZING week! I love the Ranch. 5 First of all, the facility, staff and food are all outstanding! I would highly recommend it to anyone ready to do this for themselves. The prep was good and I had a good sense of what to expect. I came for the hikes and a kick start to a new fitness plan and fell in love with the program. I learned so much and I can t wait to try and apply it. Wonderful program here at the Ranch. I think what I appreciate the most are the new perspectives it provided me towards what I am capable of, how I look at food and how I prioritize things in my life.
