2 MESSAGE FROM THE CONFERENCE CHAIRMAN Ibrahim Galadari, MD, FRCP Conference Chairman, Dubai Derma Secretary General, GCC League of Dermatology As the conference chairman of Dubai Derma, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you all to Dubai on the occasion of the 18th Dubai World Dermatology & Laser Conference & Exhibition. I am delighted to announce that the 11th Asian Dermatological Congress by Asian Dermatological Association - ADA will be held in conjunction with Dubai Derma 2018 on March at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Center. Dubai is a world-renowned centre of business and commerce, a vibrant city in the United Arab Emirates, a member of the GCC states and the gateway to the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia market with close proximity to Europe and the Far East. Being international and cosmopolitan, the city offers an infinite variety of things to see and do in a unique fusion of Middle Eastern and Western heritage and culture. Dubai has always been keeping up with advancing technologies in the dermatology practice in order to meet the constantly evolving needs and demands of the community. As the representative body of GCC dermatology profession, the GCC League of Dermatologists has a significant contribution to scientific advances of dermatology practice in the GCC region. Dubai Derma will bring together eminent speakers from the region and around the globe covering a wide spectrum of themes affecting the world of dermatology. The Dubai Derma scientific program features a four-day pre-conference course, conference program, workshops and live demonstrations exemplifying novel cosmetic and dermatological procedures. In addition, the American Academy of Dermatology - AAD will have their own first session internationally and Dubai Derma fully appreciates the upmost support and collaboration with AAD. For the past 17 years, Dubai Derma Conference and Exhibition marked itself as the leading event in the field of dermatology and laser in the MENASA region. Dubai Derma will enhance the personal and professional relationships among skin care professionals from different countries. The event is one of the world s firmly established and inveterate congresses that held every year in Dubai since It is also an honour that this year Dubai Derma will jointly held in conjunction with the 11th Asian Dermatological Congress by the Asian Dermatological Association, which will add more distinctive, excellence and merit to the meeting.
