6 EDUCATION Spotless provides managed services to over 1,300 schools and campuses across the primary, secondary and tertiary educational sectors with a team of nearly 2,000 staff. UNIVERSITY OF QUEENSLAND Spotless has been operating at the University of Queensland (UQ) in a variety of capacities since We deliver a demanding service regime across UQ s campuses and residential facilities, providing daily and periodic cleaning across a diverse building portfolio. Installing an aqueous ozone system to reduce chemical usage across UQ precincts, We aim to provide effective environmentally friendly and sustainable benefits to the University. NEW SOUTH WALES DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING (NSW DET) Spotless has delivered integrated asset maintenance services consisting of preventive and reactive maintenance services to NSW DET sites and facilities since We are responsible for 300 government sites across the State schools, TAFE campuses, ambulance stations and fire stations, providing a 24 / 7 contact centre for all emergency repairs and teams of trade-qualified managers to tend to the sites. The contract also includes planned and minor building works and maintenance, including upgrades to facility assets and building fabric. GEELONG GRAMMAR, VICTORIA Alliance has provided integrated catering and cleaning services at Geelong Grammar School s main campus in Corio, since Around 30 Alliance staff, from kitchen hands to the executive chef, prepare over 2,000 meals for staff and students each day. Every menu is reviewed and nutritionally assessed by our executive chef and dietitian. In addition to regular cleaning of the whole school grounds, the contract incorporates four comprehensive spring cleans per year, major window cleans and carpet steam cleaning. UNIVERSITY OF ADELAIDE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA The University of Adelaide caters for 26,000 students across three core campuses. Spotless is responsible for the provision of maintenance services at the University as well as the commercial buildings across the Adelaide CBD. In addition to the plumbing and electrical maintenance we ve provided since 2002, we are working closely with the University to upgrade all switchboards and electrical services across the campuses. 4
7 HEALTHCARE Our team of 3,300 staff provide facility management, food, cleaning, laundry and security services to more than 20 major hospitals across Australasia. THE ALFRED, VICTORIA Spotless has provided cleaning, food, ancillary, ward support, grounds and garden maintenance, pest control, hygiene services and security services at The Alfred since We offer cost saving benefits including the use of task management system, CARPS, which provides significant improvements in resource efficiency and an enhanced capability to accurately report on the achievement of KPIs. BENDIGO HOSPITAL, VICTORIA Spotless is providing the highest possible service delivery standards, efficiencies and innovation to this contract. Our staff look after catering, cleaning, facilities management and security for the newly opened Bendigo Hospital, which features a 372-bed capacity, 11 operating theatres, an integrated cancer centre and a psychiatric services precinct. Prior to mobilisation, our team worked closely with the project s design and construction partners to ensure the facility achieves its whole-of-life outcomes. SUNSHINE COAST UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL, QUEENSLAND Spotless is facilities manager for the 20 hectare precinct (less the private Hospital), delivering security services and providing comprehensive preventative and reactive maintenance for all five SCUH buildings. Under the 25-year contract, the 24 / 7 operation covers building, helpdesk, security, car park management, pest control, grounds and gardens maintenance and asset management services, as well as utilities and gas management services. CENTRALALLIANCE HEALTH, NEW ZEALAND Spotless provides integrated services including patient food, retail, dietetics, cleaning, orderlies, security, mailroom, facilities maintenance, grounds and garden, asset management, biomedical, and fleet management across three hospitals for centralalliance Health. centralalliance is a fully integrated, regionalised contract in the Manawatu and Whanganui regions, that is a collaboration between two District Health Boards, Whanganui DHB and Midcentral DHB. 5
8 PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS Spotless provides comprehensive facilities maintenance services to PPP contracts across the Healthcare, Education, Defence, Corrections and Leisure sectors. We are participating in 17 PPP projects with a strong reputation for providing high quality services, value for money, and bringing an innovative approach to asset lifecycle management. HEADQUARTERS JOINT OPERATIONS COMMAND, DEPARTMENT OF DEFENCE, AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY Spotless delivers facilities management services to the Department of Defence at its high security Headquarters Joint Operations Command (HQJOC) site. We provide a total facilities management service including building and equipment maintenance, security and emergency response, cleaning, catering, helpdesk, administration and concierge services, pest control, and waste management services, along with managing the asset lifecycle replacement requirements. SOUTH BANK TAFE, BRISBANE, QUEENSLAND The South Bank campus of TAFE-Brisbane is Queensland s first Public Private Partnership, which commenced in Our integrated services include cleaning, 24 / 7 security, grounds maintenance, pest control, porterage, infrastructure maintenance: HVAC, electrical, fire, plumbing, information communication and technology, lifecycle replacement, workplace health & safety consultancy services, laundry / linen and kitchen hands. 6 NEW ROYAL ADELAIDE HOSPITAL, SA HEALTH, SOUTH AUSTRALIA In 2011, Spotless was awarded the 35-year contract as facility manager at the New Royal Adelaide Hospital, as part of a PPP. Construction of the hospital began in 2011 and commenced operation in Spotless employs more than 700 staff to deliver 15 support services including engineering and maintenance, catering, cleaning, orderly services, security, patient support, grounds and gardens. SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION, EXHIBITION & ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE, NEW SOUTH WALES The 250,000 m3 facility features a convention centre, exhibition centre and 8,000-seat theatre. Spotless provides comprehensive facility management and asset management to all three buildings and their surrounding public precinct. Our role includes hard facility management services, repair and replacement, high level cleaning, grounds maintenance and horticulture, art conservation and utilities management.
9 DEFENCE Spotless helps our Defence clients to maximise operational efficiencies, reduce costs and ensure the comfort of base staff. ESTATE MANAGEMENT AND OPERATION SUPPORT, DEPARTMENT OF DEFENCE, QUEENSLAND AND NEW SOUTH WALES Under the Maintenance and Operation Services (EMOS) contract, Spotless provides essential support services to our client, the Department of Defence: Estate and Infrastructure Group (DE&IG). From , Spotless is delivering services in the Queensland and Southern New South Wales regions. The EMOS services contract has been established to integrate Defence estate management and servicing activities. These include all Base Services activities which support and service the land, buildings and infrastructure on the Defence Estate. The EMOS contract encompasses: HVAC, electrical and metering services Management, integration and coordination Base services support centre Cleaning and housekeeping Estate upkeep (planned and reactive maintenance) Land management Laundry, dry cleaning and treatment Pest and vermin management, control and treatment MANAWATU HUB, DEFENCE NZ Spotless provides facilities maintenance services under the contracts of Facilities Maintenance and Management Services at the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) s Manawatu Hub (Central Region) and National Army Museum, for our client, the NZDF: Defence Property Group. We have provided services to NZDF since We renewed the contract in June 2016 and will continue to service the contract through to June Services encompass: Asset management Data management Operational maintenance Cleaning Grounds maintenance Swimming pool management Since 2005, we have successfully provided facilities maintenance services to New Zealand Defence Forces, including Trentham, the Manawatu Hub, and National Army Museum. In June 2015, we were awarded the facilities maintenance contract for the NZDF Southern Region based in Burnham Military Camp. 10 LEISURE, SPORT AND ENTERTAINMENT Spotless creates premium leisure and hospitality experiences that are enjoyable and cost-effective. MELBOURNE CRICKET CLUB, VICTORIA Spotless has provided a multi-service offering to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) for several decades. Our catering arm, EPICURE, has serviced the MCG for 36 years, hosting functions for high profile sporting event days, such as the AFL Grand Final, and non-event days. Facility management and maintenance to the grounds refrigeration and air-conditioning components have been provided by AE Smith for over 18 years, while Nuvo recently delivered a $2.2M electrical upgrade package to the MCG s exterior areas. CROWN MELBOURNE, VICTORIA AE Smith has provided full-time air conditioning, refrigeration, energy efficiency and building services to Crown since The team regularly develops custommade initiatives and building solutions to optimise operational efficiencies and deliver energy and cost savings. Nuvo Group was selected as Crown s partner in the recent $1 billion property upgrade of its major retail areas, premium gaming areas and high end VIP facilities. Nuvo s team delivered a fully integrated electrical and technology project complete with data centres, LED lighting solutions, audio visual, CCTV, access control, switchboard and infrastructure upgrades. PERTH CONVENTION AND EXHIBITION CENTRE (PCEC), WESTERN AUSTRALIA Spotless manages all national and international events and functions approximately 100 events per month at the PCEC. Spotless provides all soft services such as catering, cleaning, linen, security and portering services, as well as maintaining the venue s hard facilities delivering high level cleaning, furniture sourcing, grounds and gardens maintenance, fire services, capital works, utilities and waste management with an extensive recycling program. Spotless recently invested $1.5M on Wi-Fi infrastructure and security upgrades, bolstering its world class event delivery capabilities. VBASE VENUES, NEW ZEALAND Spotless delivers hospitality and retail catering services to Vbase in Christchurch. Vbase is wholly owned by the Christchurch City Council. We are responsible for delivering services to all of Vbase owned and managed venues, including The Air Force Museum, AMI Stadium, Horncastle Arena, Hagley Oval and Christchurch Town Hall. image credit: Vbase 8
11 BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY Spotless provides facility management, catering and food, cleaning, laundry and linen and security services to more than 550 client sites with a team of nearly 4,000 staff. SIGMA HEALTHCARE, AUSTRALIA-WIDE AE Smith s long-term contract with Sigma Healthcare National provides all refrigeration and cool room maintenance. The service delivery includes a 24 / 7 call centre for immediate response to any issues, in-house engineering for upscaling projects and team dedicated to the account. AE Smith understands the operational drivers, unique requirements and challenges of Sigma s different critical facilities and has looked after all their fixed assets since 2012, providing condition assessments for their plant and all their equipment so that Sigma can focus on streamlining their operations. TIP TOP BUTCHERS, VICTORIA AE Smith has a long-standing relationship with Tip Top Butchers, providing end-to-end project capabilities, from design, installation, servicing to maintenance operations for the air conditioning and refrigeration systems at their Laverton main plant and wholesale outlet in Eltham. The team uses the CAREL PlantVisor control monitoring system. Coupled with daily HACCP reports, the team s ability to remotely monitor temperatures over 24 hours, ensures no product loss and is cost effective for the client. ANZ NATIONAL CATERING SERVICES, AUSTRALIA-WIDE Alliance has held the national catering contract with ANZ at seven locations across four States since The team delivers event catering for ANZ clients and customers as well as internal functions from dinners and launch events to providing bespoke menus and wine lists. In 2013, Alliance began operating the Sydney ANZ café after the opening of their Pitt Street office building. Currently the contract team is made up of approximately 70 staff members, including chefs, cooks, catering assistants, wait staff and management roles. AUCKLAND AIRPORT MULTIPLE RETAIL SITES, NEW ZEALAND Spotless currently runs five retail sites at Auckland Airport in New Zealand. We operate Alice & George, Shaky Isles, Sumo Salad, The Bach Alehouse and Wayfarer at the Domestic Terminal. Shaky Isles Domestic was recently recognised in the 2016 Retail Excellence awards. 9
12 UTILITIES Spotless offers network and distribution design, construction, maintenance and our own innovative pole reinforcement product. We also provide mass population services including metering, customer acquisition, logistics and field operations. METER READING, AUSTRALIA-WIDE SKILLTECH SMARTPIPETM Our team visits approximately 275,000+ homes per day around Australia. After 25 years of reading meters, we ve developed highly refined processes that deliver quality for our customers. Our reading services include: We have developed the Skilltech SmartPipeTM, a fully managed hydrant access service with patented in-built technology. This portable innovative product takes hydrant management to the next level. Cyclic meter reading automatic and manual Our clients: Meter replacements, disconnections, restrictions and reconnections Receive real-time data (time, locations, quantities) allowing for immediate verification and queries from end users Off cycle meter reading, special meter reading, final reads and property inspections Access statistics for data-driven improvement, such as historical access and GPS location. Limit water anomalies and regulate water extraction activities with geo-fencing technology Update field equipment at no additional cost with field repairs, yearly maintenance and calibration checks all included Automate monthly billing (for approved users) improving cash flow To support our SmartPipe solution, our Find My Hydrant app helps water carters easily find where the closest approved hydrant access point is to their delivery location. POLE REINSTATEMENT & INSPECTION, AUSTRALIA-WIDE Our propriety RFD Pole Reinstatement System is an environmentally friendly and lower cost alternative to pole replacement. There are two deployment options: banded or positive bolted. This innovative system can extend pole life for up to twenty years and is easily installed even in the most inaccessible of terrains. 10
13 RESOURCES Spotless team of 2,000 staff provides village services and maintenance to over 37 mining camps and towns. MAJOR SERVICES CONTRACT, ANGLO AMERICAN, QUEENSLAND STAYOVER BY AUSCO VILLAGE, AUSTRALIA WIDE For the past six years across five villages and eight mines, Spotless has provided village catering and accommodation management, housekeeping, town janitorial services, mine site and equipment industrial cleaning, mine building and town housing / village maintenance, security / safety services, grounds and gardens, pest control services, transportation and airport management services. Spotless holds a contract for catering, housekeeping, front office, grounds and maintenance for the Stayover by Ausco Villages in Chinchilla, Dalby and Dysart in Queensland, Karratha in Western Australia and Darwin in Northern Territory. We have held the Chinchilla contract since Stayover by Ausco is a market leading provider of premium accommodation solutions to the remote mining, gas and construction sector. QGC, SURAT BASIN REGION, QUEENSLAND VILLAGE MANAGEMENT, LADY LORETTA MINE, QUEENSLAND Spotless manages QGC s assets in the Surat Basin Region. This includes managing two villages with a total of 1,250 rooms that house QGC s dynamic workforce. Services include, accommodation and administration, catering, cleaning and janitorial, laundry, waste management, retail and tavern, recreation and village entertainment, facilities and infrastructure maintenance, security, gardening and grounds care, and fire protection. Following contract award by Redpath Mining, Spotless will commence the delivery of village management services to Lady Loretta Mine in Located in North West Queensland, the underground operation produces zinc, lead and copper. We will provide a full suite of services including accommodation management, catering, cleaning and janitorial (also provided to the Mine site), tavern and retail, grounds and minor maintenance. 11
14 GOVERNMENT Spotless provides property and facilities management services to government departments, agencies and authorities at the federal, state and municipal level. ASSET SERVICES MAINTENANCE, NEW SOUTH WALES LAND AND HOUSING CORPORATION (LAHC) Since 2002, Spotless has shared a long-term partnership with LAHC. We deliver Asset Services maintenance for the LAHC as part of a five year contract. Under the contract, We maintain over 27,000 social housing properties, including maintenance, capital works and restoration / heritage works. The services are provided to residential properties across three regions in Central Coast New South Wales, Inner West Sydney and Illawarra. FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SERVICES, SOUTH AUSTRALIA In 2014, Spotless was awarded the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure South Australia facilities management contract following a successful re-tender. We were awarded both the Central and North regions, encompassing approximately 1,600 sites including public hospitals, correctional facilities, schools and CBD buildings. These sites are operated by 30 government agencies. 12 NEW ZEALAND HOUSING Spotless commenced delivery of maintenance services to Housing New Zealand in 2010 and currently maintains 6,000 public housing assets. Qualified and experienced tradespeople deliver an extensive range of services including brickwork and blockwork, carpentry and decoration, electrical works, exterior painting, flooring, gas fitting and plumbing, and maintenance works. We operate a 24 / 7 responsive call centre to manage the maintenance requests. CITY OF MELBOURNE, VICTORIA Spotless provides around-the-clock cleaning services for the City of Melbourne, including street sweeping, rubbish collection, weed control, graffiti removal and storm clean-up. Our operations contribute to the City s goal of zero net emissions by 2020, using biofuels and recycled / rain water to fuel and maintain our street sweeping fleet, and reduce carbon emissions as well as time and costs with efficient route planning that also minimises traffic disruption.
