5 SUNSHINE COAST UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL SUNSHINE COAST, QLD VALUE: $1.8 billion 450 BEDS COMPLETED: December 2016 SCOPE: The new public tertiary teaching hospital opened at the end of 2016 with around 450 beds and ramp up to 738 beds by 2021, with capacity to be expanded to 900 beds beyond that time if needed.

6 THE NEW BENDIGO HOSPITAL BENDIGO, VIC VALUE: $1.6 billion COMPLETED: January 2017 SCOPE: Design and construction of a new 372 bed hospital. Lendlease is a part of the Exemplar Health Consortia Lendlease with Siemens, Capella Capital and Spotless.
