3 Dear Members & Prospective Members, The BIA Bay Area provides members with a full year of exciting events, meetings and networking opportunities to achieve professional development and expand visibility for your company. The Marketing Guide was developed to help you plan your involvement and budget for The following pages list details for each of our major events including sponsorship opportunities, costs and benefits. Make the most of your membership by getting involved. Outside of events, the BIA Bay Area has numerous ways for your team to engage with members and other industry professionals. Our councils and committees focus on networking, advocacy and educational opportunities. No matter where in the building process your company is situated, the BIA offers opportunities to build relationships and broaden your exposure across the industry. As the year progresses, meetings and events may be added or updated within the Marketing Guide, so please reference our website ( for the latest information. In addition, updates are distributed to all members via our Weekly Report digital newsletter. Become a BIA Ambassador! Any company making the commitment to invest more than $5,000 to the BIA Bay Area for 2019 by January 15 th will be recognized as a BIA Ambassador. 6 Building industry association AMBASSADOR PROGRAM Get more from your sponsorship dollars by becoming a BIA Bay Area Ambassador! Companies that spend a total of $5,000 or more on sponsorship during 2019 will receive special value-added bonuses at no extra charge. There are two tiers, see details below. Some exclusions apply, including, but not limited to dues, fees, event tickets, booth fees and charitable contributions. Contributions to HomeAid Northern California do NOT qualify for the Ambassador Program and must be made directly to HomeAid. Contact (925) for sponsorship questions. To become a BIA Bay Area Ambassador, your company must commit to the total sponsorship amount and a initial payment of $2,500 or 50% (whichever is greater) must be received no later than January 15, The balance must be paid in full 30 days prior to your selected event(s).
