The Festival Expo is open to the general public as well as Premier s Gala Concert patrons from 9.00am to 6.00pm on Thursday and 9:00am to 3:00pm on Friday. Please note, there will be no pass-outs from the Gala Concerts to the Expo. Transport Options The Department of Family and Community Services recommends travelling to the concerts by Public Transport if possible. Public Transport Trains There will be Special Event Train services operating across both days of the concerts. For groups who are successful in receiving tickets to the concerts and have chosen this transport option to get to the concerts, further details will be sent out to your group with your tickets. Light Rail There will be additional Light Rail services carrying guests between Central Station and Exhibition Station. Page 1 of 6

2 Private Vehicle Parking For those concert patrons who will be travelling to the concerts in a private vehicle, parking will be available at ICC Sydney. Access to the car park is via Darling Drive. Please note that parking fees apply. Taxi The best taxi drop off and pick up location is Zollner Circuit, accessed via Darling Drive. Walk From Central Station, walk via Eddy Ave through Belmore Park, turn left onto Hay Street to reach the venue. Walking time to venue: approx minutes. From Town Hall Station, walk via Bathurst St and join the footbridge that will take you down to Tumbalong Park and the venue. Alternatively, walk via Druitt St and join the footbridge that will take you down to Darling Harbour then turn left to continue towards Tumbalong Park and the venue. Walk time to venue: approx. 15 minutes. Frequently Asked Questions Q: What are the Premier s Gala Concerts? A: The Premier s Gala Concerts will be held in February during the NSW Seniors Festival. The concerts take place over two days, with four concerts attracting up to 8,000 people per concert. The concerts enable the State Government, on behalf of the people of NSW, to acknowledge the contribution that seniors make to families, workplaces and the general community. Q: Where are the concerts held? A: The concerts are held at the ICC Sydney Theatre, Darling Harbour. Q: How long does the concert go for? A: The concert runs for approximately 90minutes. Concert times are listed on Page 1. Q: How do I choose which concert to go to? A: When booking you have the option to choose from all four concerts. Q: What is the theme and who is performing? A: The theme and performers for the is Love Your Life, with performers such as Marina Prior, Adam Brand, Casey Donovan and Tim Campbell. 3 TICKET INFORMATION Q: How do I get tickets to the concerts? A: Tickets to the Premier s Gala Concerts are available through Ticketek, midday on Wednesday 12 December Patrons can book tickets quickly and easily online at Bookings are available by phone , however you should expect lengthy delays if booking by phone, due to the popularity of the concerts. Q: Are tickets FREE? A: Tickets are FREE for NSW Seniors. Q: How many tickets can I book? A: A maximum of 4 tickets per person can be booked. Q: Is there a booking fee when booking? A: There is no booking fee. Q: How are tickets allocated? A: Tickets are allocated on a first-in, first-served system. Q: Do I need a Seniors Card to book tickets? A: No, as long as you are a senior living in NSW you are eligible to book tickets. A senior is someone who is 60 years or older. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people with a lifelong disability are classified as a senior if they are 50 years or older. Q: Can I go on a waiting list for tickets? A: If the concerts are fully booked after the tickets become available on 12 December 2018, there will there be a waiting list. You can not book tickets as well as go on the waiting list. Q: How do I cancel / return my tickets? A: Ticket Allocations and Returns If you find you have more tickets than you need, please ensure they are returned before Friday 1 February Page 3 of 6

A: There will be a last minute ticket release on Wednesday 23 January 2019 at 9.00am. Tickets will be available through Ticketek. Q: Can I bring my carer with me? A: Yes you can, however each carer requires a ticket. Tickets for carers must come from your total allocation of tickets. Q: What seating is available at the ICC Sydney Theatre? A: There are three main seating areas in the ICC Sydney Theatre: the Wheelchair/Carer areas, Floor area and the Gallery area. Q: Are there lifts to the Gallery areas of the ICC Sydney Theatre? A: Yes, there are lifts to all levels of the theatre. However, the majority of seats require patrons to walk at least some number of stairs. Please see below for more information. Q: Do I have to walk up or down many stairs to get to my seat? A: There are stairs to all Gallery seats at the ICC Sydney Theatre. Lifts are available for patron use to get to the level your seats are located on, however, please note that all gallery seats will require you to walk down/up at least some stairs to get to your seat and again to exit the venue. NOTE: Those located on the Floor Level will not be required to walk up or down any stairs. Once you have your tickets, you can check the section and row number to see exactly how many stairs there are to your seats using the table below.
