1 HAJ COMMITTEE OF INDIA (Statutory body of Ministry of Minority Affairs) HAJ REVISED CIRCULAR Subject: Amount payable by selected pilgrims for Haj 1439(ID-2018 No. 20 Date: Haj amount payable by the pilgrims for Haj 1439(H)-2018 is indicated category-wise in the Table below. Pilgrims who have paid advance amount of Rs.81,000/- need to deposit the Balance Amount and others have to deposit the Total Amount. Those pilgrims who opted for Qurbanil Adahi have to pay an additional amount of Rs. 8,000/-. Airport Taxes/Charges shown in the Part-B of Annexure-III (Column No.2) of Circular No.20 dated includes Airport Taxes (UDF + PSF), Airport Charges and GST. 3. Point No. iii of Note on page 2 may be read as "Shia Pilgrims embarking from Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Gaya, Jaipur, Nagpur, Ranchi, Calicut, Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai landing at Jeddah Haj Terminal and opting for JOHFA as MEEQA1~ are required to pay extra SAR 100/- = Rs.l,760/- per pilgrim". 4. Point No. vii of Note on page 2 is further clarified that those Pilgrim who have performed Haj or Umrah in the past (any year) will be charged at the rate of SAR.2,000/- i.e. Rs. 35,202/- by Saudi Government. Saudi Authorities had clarified that only first visit in life time (Umrah or Haj in any year) is free, next visa will be costing SAR.2,000/-. Hajis will have to pay this amount before leaving for Haj. This time during online registration (MOFA), the names of the Pilgrims who have to pay SAR.2,000/- extra will be known to Haj Committee of India. Also it has been learnt that the repeaters going with new passport & hiding information of previous visit to Makkah will be cross checked at Makkah with biometric matching.
