Club postcode: NG14 7JX The Club phone number is: To get to the club : If coming from Nottingham just before you enter Thurgation turn right at sign "to the Industrial area". If coming from Newark/Southwell turn left just after de-restriction out of Thurgaton. After going over the railway crossing, you come to a sharp right hand bend, turn left and carry on past Westpile Offices (Portacabins). Beware of lorries. Slow down past the Westpile Offices, the road changes to gravel and 200 yards further on there is a gate to the right & sign to the Club, turn down the track.

From south on A68, ignore all signs to Derwent Reservoir until reaching hamlet of Kiln Pit Hill [approx. 4 miles from the County boundary at Allensford] turn left, and then take the 2nd left down towards the reservoir and the clubhouse will become visible. From the north on the A68, turn right at Kiln Pit Hill and then 2nd left as before.

In addition to the council run (and likely to be booked up early) caravan and camping site in the Country Park, camping will be available at a discounted rate in the club camping area of the Country Park. Further details in due course but expect fees to be c 5 per night per tent. No need to book in advance if you want to use the club camping area.

10 FOOD ENTERTAINMENT SAT NIGHT SEMINAR PLAN The Galley will be open from mid morning on Saturday through into the evening and on Sunday from breakfast until after the prizegiving. Regatta BBQ on Saturday evening approximately 7 per person Beach games The Club Bar will also be open As the event is being run as part of Filey SC s regatta there will not be a formal seminar held at this event. CAR PARKING The Club have negotiated discounted parking for regatta competitors. DO NOT pay at the Pay and Display machines car parking passes will be available at the Club. Directions: From York A64 to Staxton, leave A64 at roundabout (second exit) and take road signed Filey and Muston. After Muston you will reach a T junction ignore the road to the right signed Filey (if you take this road you ll be at the wrong end of the bay!) Instead turn left, signed Scarborough, and follow the road to the next roundabout (just after a level crossing). Take the right turn to Filey and follow the road into the town, looking for signs for the Country Park. At the roundabout take the first exit and then after about 50m take the left turn into the Country Park. From Scarborough, turn off A165 to Filey, then first exit (left) at first roundabout in the town. Left after 50metres- bends to Right into Country Park. Once you ve entered the Country Park, DO NOT use the pay and display machines (there is cheap rate parking available from the club). Head through the park until you see a shop. Wait there for instructions as to how to get your boat down on to the beach (it s a military operation run with great precision by the club). If lost, try phoning the Clubhouse on

National 12 entertainment will be arranged ½ Hour to follow after sailing on Sat Topic: To be advised Speaker: To be advised Directions: Starcross is a small village eight miles south of Exeter on the west bank of the River Exe, and the Club is situated at Powderham point approx 2 miles from Starcross village on the Exeter side. (Look for the small S.Y.C signpost marker) Directions from the M5: Leave the M5 at Junction 30 Exeter If coming from the North take the third exit (if up from the South take the first) off of motorway roundabout (a dual carriageway) signposted Exeter and Dawlish A379 after approx 2 miles - look out! - filter left follow A379, road then filters into rhs traffic, stay in lhs lane to Countess Weir roundabout, straight over, carry on over the 'lifting bridge'(crosses over the canal), watch for left filter lane to Dawlish A379 as you approach the large round about, filter and turn left, you will then pass under the Motorway viaduct, stay on the A379, straight over the "Swans Nest" roundabout, after approx two miles there is a slight blind left turn signposted Powderham (small SYC sign under) turn left here, (if you find yourself in Kenton village you missed the turn) carry on down this partial single track road past Powderham church (watch out for oncoming traffic on the bends!) and the Club is on your left, under the railway line, "mind your head as you pass under our bridge" and do check your car height before trying to go under, although my Espace has about 15mm clearance!

Dinner will be served on Saturday early evening prior to the Prize Giving (approx 8 per head), and the bar facilities will be available. Directions: Grafham Water Sailing Club is easy to find - only three miles from the A1 and five miles from the A14, in Cambridgeshire. The club is situated in the village of Perry, which is on the B661. From the A1 at the roundabout in Buckden head west, following the signs for Perry and Grafham Water. On reaching the centre of Perry village, turn down Chichester Way (opposite the Wheatsheaf Pub) and keep going until you reach the end of the road, where you will find the club entrance.
