16 Operation Guideline 1) Control power flow on 230 kv Chaiyaphum-KhonKaen3 transmission line to be less than 65% - prevent the system angle instability. (prevent all type of fault) to be less than 90% reduce the risk of the system angle instability. (only single phase fault) 2) Install generation shedding scheme - used as backup protection when fault occurs. 3) Install overload line scheme - to mitigate the overloaded remaining line in case there is an N-1 event on transmission line. 16

Ø Allow installing generation shedding scheme - used as backup protection when fault occurs. (maximum of 2 units or 500 MW) Ø Allow installing overload line scheme - to mitigate the overloaded remaining line in case there is an N-1 event on transmission line. 20
