24 Ross Theatre and Princes Street Gardens Princes Street Gardens EH2 2HG Access There is level access via a path to the Gardens and the Ross Theatre through the King s Stables Road entrance. This is only level at the entrance then the path has various inclines and declines as you make your way in to the Gardens. You can get in to the King s Stables Road entrance at 6.30pm if you purchase a Priority Entrance ticket. This is 17.50, non-priority tickets cost and you can enter at 7.00pm. We recommend you arrive as early as possible to find a good viewing point and settle down before the start. Spaces for wheelchair users are available for Ross Theatre ticket holders ( 27.50) where Photo: Rob McDougall there is an excellent view of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and fireworks. The route to the Ross Theatre is mainly level on proper paths though there are inclines and slopes in places. There are other areas in the gardens reserved for wheelchair users with Gardens tickets. There are some hard flooring islands along the bottom path in areas with good visibility of the fireworks and there are large screens nearby. 24

25 This is the easiest area to reach within the Gardens because you don t have to climb the steep hill. There is another area reserved at the top of the steep hill, this is at the back of the Ross Theatre seating. It takes approximately minutes to reach this area from the King s Stables Road entrance and exiting down this hill can take quite a long time in heavy crowds at the end of the concert. There are accessible toilets in the Gardens behind the Ross Theatre and in a block of toilets near the fountain on the West side of the Gardens. The accessible toilets in Inverleith Park are on the path running through the park. An alternative viewing area is located in Inverleith Park. The concert can be enjoyed from the park on a big screen and there is a good view of the fireworks. This viewing area is free and unticketed. Blue Badge holders can drive in to Inverleith Park and park on the path; they can either watch the concert from the park or from the comfort of their car. Please note that the Gardens become very crowded, which, combined with the noisy fireworks, may make this area unsuitable for assistance animals. Buses and Parking For up to date parking and travel information please visit eif.co.uk/ virginmoneyfireworksconcert in the weeks before the concert 25
