2 2 Customer ticket product information What Price to Pay 3 Introducing our range of tickets for travel by Stagecoach bus in and around South Wales from Single and Returns to money-saving four weekly and monthly tickets. We sell singles, day returns, day and week tickets on bus, our drivers give change. With weekly, four weekly and monthly tickets available online and delivered to your home on Smartcard no photo needed. A Smartcard supplied on bus are charged at 50p, smartcards issued online there is no charge. We also sell day and week tickets through our App straight to your smart-phone. Our App is free to download. All tickets are issued subject to our conditions of carriage which are available from Company offices and our website. All prices quoted are correct at the time of going to print. Please retain your ticket for inspection, as it is our policy that all customers have a valid ticket for travel. Please take care of your ticket as lost, stolen and damaged or defaced tickets cannot be replaced. Tickets we sell and where to buy them from Single and day return fares are available on bus from your bus driver. Through the Stagecoach website and App you may search for the price of a journey and pay on the bus, our drivers give change. Travel Available from your bus driver. Point to point family single and return travel. The price is based on twice the Single or Return fare between two points. A family may consist of up to 2 s and 3 children, or 1 and up to four children all travelling together. Our drivers give change. Unlimited Travel Tickets a day s unlimited Stagecoach bus travel within a zone. Explorer A days unlimited stagecoach bus travel throughout the Stagecoach South Wales network also including; Gloucester, Ross-on-Wye, Monmouth, Cheltenham (on Stagecoach West buses). From one week to four weeks Stagecoach bus travel within a zone. A Smartcard issued on bus is charged at 50p. A smartcard issued online there is no additional charge. Where to buy your ticket... Xtra Monthly unlimited Stagecoach bus travel within a zone, this is a recurring monthly payment product available online. Minimum sign up is just one month, with no cancellation fee. Bus App Online Rail Stn Weekly Point to Point Travel Available for up to 7 days consecutive travel from the bus driver between two specific points. Only available in Blaenau Gwent, Ebbw Vale and services from Bargoed to Merthyr Tydfil and Ebbw Vale to Pontypool. Our website and App provide pricing information for your specific journey. Route Rider A weekly ticket available from the bus driver for travel between Cwmbran Bus Station, Aberbeeg and Abertillery on Services X22, E3 & X15. See page 8 for zone area and prices. this denotes an expanded local zonal area offering wider Stagecoach bus travel. What Price To Pay? Prices Those aged 16 and over (16 18 see MyTravelPass opposite) Over 5: Child fares are charged for children aged between 5 and under 16. You may be asked to confirm your age when requesting a child fare or subsequently using a child ticket. Child fares are charged at 33% off the adult price. Child Prices Infants under 5; up to 4 children under the age of 5 can travel free when accompanied by a responsible passenger, providing they do not occupy a seat to the exclusion of a fare paying passenger or are seated in a buggy in a designated space on the vehicle. mytravelpass (MTP) If your are aged between yrs inc, you can get 33% off the cost of bus travel, compared to the price. This discount is available if you are resident in Wales on all local bus services. It s free to apply uk.wales/en/ Just present the MyTravelPass when you travel to get 33% off the cost off () travel. Tickets Two s and up to three children or one adult and up to four children. Change We appreciate customers who present the exact fare, it helps the driver keep on time. Our drivers will provide change if they are able to do so. Dogs Guide dogs and assistance dogs will be carried free of charge at all times. The charge for all other dogs is 80p per journey or 6.90 for a weekly ticket. A Weekly ticket is valid for up to 7 consecutive days only on the bus route purchased and parallel route/s point to point. These are valid for return travel within one calendar month. Powys Flexirider You can purchase 10 single journeys at once for use within 4 weeks in Powys on Stagecoach services X43/43, Brecon town services and TrawsCymru T4 north of Felinfach. Powys Day Unlimited travel for one day on bus services in Powys. Also available on T4 to/from Cardiff, X43/43 to/from Abergavenny and 39/39B to/from Hereford. TrawsCymru Day Ticket Valid for one day throughout Wales on any TrawsCymru service and also on Lloyds X85 between Newtown and Machynlleth. Available to purchase on TrawsCymru buses. NetworkRider Day and weekly unlimited bus travel with participating bus operators throughout South Wales. Participating bus operators; Cardiff Bus, Capital Links, Harris Coaches, Phil Anslow Coaches, Easyway, Edwards Coaches, Globe, N.A.T. Group (not available on TrawsCymru T9, Powys, Neath or Swansea area services), First Cymru (East of Plye) Connect 2, Monmouthshire County Council, Watts and Stagecoach South Wales. Newport Bus offers and accepts the Day Network Rider only. The area valid for travel (with NetworkRider) on Stagecoach bus services, is the South Wales zone. See pages 16-17, prices below. Concession Network Rider Day 5.30 Weekly Available to English and Scottish concessionary pass holders or anyone aged over 60 with passport proof of ID. The All Wales Concessionary Travel scheme allows all men and women, who are either aged 60 and over, disabled or visually impaired and who are residents of Wales, to travel free on all registered local bus services throughout Wales, without any time restriction. As a concessionary pass holder, as long as your bus journey either starts or finishes in Wales, you can also travel free on our bus services into England (Routes 39 and X4 to Hereford). Additionally, the All Wales Concessionary Bus Pass scheme allows persons over 5 years of age, with certain disabilities, to travel free on all registered local bus services throughout Wales, without any time restriction. Travelling on a bus there are 4 easy steps to help the driver... 1 Board the bus When Show the driver your concession pass, photo toward the driver. Then place the Concession Pass on the ticket machine lid The ticket machine will acknowledge that the pass has been read and will respond with a bleep, a green light and will issue a ticket. Please take your ticket, retain it for inspection and then take your seat. If you have just turned 60 and haven t got your pass yet generally you can apply for a new pass at your local Post Office or Local Authority office where you will be asked to complete an application form and provide a passport size and quality colour photograph. You will also need to provide proof of age and address. English concessionary pass holders will be entitled to free travel on bus services in England between 0930 and 2300 on Mondays to Fridays or at any time at weekends and on bank holidays. English residents do not qualify for free travel on our services in Wales, except those living in Herefordshire, who are entitled to use their passes on certain cross boundary journeys as long as you stay on the bus to any destination on Service X3 or 39. The terms, conditions and rules applying to these concessionary travel schemes are the responsibility of the pass issuing authority. Buy from your local station (throughout England, Wales and Scotland - where available) to include bus travel in South Wales with your train ticket. South Wales Valley Lines Explorer 11 Child 5.50 No concession rates. Buy on the first Stagecoach bus or Valley Lines train you board (at Staffed Stations from the ticket office). Enjoy on Stagecoach bus services in South East Wales (except Traws Cymru Service T4 between Felinfach/Three Cocks and Newtown in Powys). Valid on local Valley Line trains operated by Arriva Trains Wales - this includes lines in the area; West to Maesteg and Bridgend, South to Barry and Penarth and the East to Ebbw Vale (not valid to Newport on the train). The Explore Wales Pass The Explore Wales Pass is what it says it is - one ticket that gives you the freedom to explore Wales by train and bus. Choose either Explore Wales Pass The 8 Day Pass gives you 4 days rail and 8 days bus travel throughout the whole of Wales Currently priced at 99, Child 49.50, Rail card Holder or Explore South Wales Pass Allowing 4 days rail and 8 days bus travel in an 8 day period throughout the South Wales network Currently priced at 69, Child 34.50, Rail Card Holder For both tickets reductions of approximately 1/3 are available to holders of Young Persons, Senior and Disabled Persons railcards.
