6 INTERNATIONAL ENTRY POINT : JOHOR BAHRU [SOUTH] MY-SG Rail link opened in 17 th Sept 1923 Originally end at south of Singapore in Tanjung Pagar Railway Station (TPRS) Cargo services to feed New Harbour (aka Keppel Harbour) MY-SG Point of Agreement(POA) [May 2010] 6 ended train services to Singapore KTMB terminus relocated from TPRS to Woodlands Train Check Point (WTCP) Effective date from 1 st July 2011 Cargo services to SG discontinued Only passenger services remains KTM will cease services to WTCP when Rapid Transit System between Johor Bahru & Woodlands become operational (est. December 2024)

12 LANDBRIDGE SERVICE BETWEEN MALAYSIA - THAILAND (CARGO SERVICES) introduced in year 1999 represents an international collaboration between KTMB and the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) Maptaput Bangsue Trang Suratthani Hatyai started with 2 weekly trains from Port Klang to Bangsue gradually expanded to major dry and sea ports in Malaysia and terminates at various stations and freight terminal in Thai territory. Penang Port Port Klang Shorter travelling time by rail from Port Klang Bangsue takes 60 hours while sea transport takes 5-7 days
13 SHUTTLE TRAIN SERVICE BETWEEN JB SENTRAL WOODLANDS, SG introduced on 1 st Current frequency 26 trips daily Distance of 1.1 km July 2015 with 14 trips daily 5-minutes journey compared to minutes by road on Causeway Train capacity: 320 pax Average daily passengers: 5,900 pax Fare: Towards SG: MYR5.
