We hope sharing his experiences and tips on flying with the membership will inspire the next Nationals winner! Wanted: A Few Good Models! Let s face it. We all have models stuffed in the rafters, in the attic, and down in the basement. Maybe they have some minor damage and you just haven t had the time to make them airworthy, or your afraid that old brittle glue isn t going to hold up to those 5g turns you like to make. It could even be the old wide band radio in it that keeps it grounded, but gosh darn it!, that radio worked great and you re just not going to replace it! There may be a solution for you. The owner of the Kitty Hawk restaurant at the Dupage Flight Center would

2 like to hang some scale vintage models from the ceiling. Wouldn t it be nice to put that beautiful old model that s just gathering dust, on display for others to see? You can arrange to hang them on loan, sell them to the Kitty Hawk, or put a price tag on them. If any of this sounds worth while to you, please contact Greg Erickson at

4 April Static Contest Results Thanks to all the participants, we had a great group of planes. We enjoyed seeing them all. I was a bit surprised to see only one ARF, but it took first place!
