Website: Date: July 9th, 2014 MRCMC General Membership Meeting Minutes Mike Fjerstad called the meeting to order at 7:12PM. 1. Acceptance of June meeting minutes were approved with a motion, seconded. The motion was passed with a vote. 2. The treasurer s report was given and accepted. Karl Eckerle reviewed the income and expenses from last month. All 2014 dues have been paid. We have 70 members. 3. The John Hoovner Fun Fly on June 21st was a great event. There was a 22 pilots that had excellent weather and a good time flying with no crashes. Don and Steve were event coordinators. 4. The front gate was repaired. A note will be sent to Dow, thanking them for the repair. Flyer attached. 5. Mid-Michigan Fun Fly at Frankenmuth flying field July The Flying Eagles club from Bay City is having a fly-in on July 19 th, with a rain date of July 20 th. All area clubs are invited to participate. 7. The calendar of events were discussed: July 12 Mid-Michigan Fun Fly at Frankenmuth club flying field Aug 17 MRCMC family picnic and fun fly Sept 6 MRCMC swap meet at flying field Sept 7 MRCMC airshow Sept 13 EAA pancake breakfast Sept 20 Float Fly 10:00-2:00 Sept 21 Rain date for float fly 8. The Air Show was reviewed by Bob Thompson. Additional job assignments were given. $100 for PA rental was reviewed. Flyer for Air Show was handed out and is also attached to newsletter. 9.
