2 ANTIGUA FULL DAY CITY TOUR 07:00 hrs At 0900AM, walking tour to appreciate The Americas Colonial Monument. 3 CHICHICASTENANGO AND LAKE ATITLAN ONE DAY TOUR 8hrs approx. THRUSDAY AND SUNDAY ONLY Daily breakfast at your hotel is confirmed. At 07:30, transfer from your hotel to the Guatemalan Highlands along the Panamerican Highway to Chichicastenango, a Quiche Maya Town surrounded by hills and mountains that jealously keep the inhabitants traditions, as they melt their Pre-Hispanic and catholic rituals at the 400 years old church of Santo Tomas, built on the remains of a Maya Temple. Here on market days Thursdays and Sundays, acquire great meaning and smoky incense impregnates the atmosphere with mysticism and religiosity. People barter their product and the market explodes with color, tradition and folklore. At indicated time, transfer to Panajachel, a village located on the slopes of Lake Atitlan. Considered as one of the most beautiful lakes around the world, also three Volcanoes; Atitlan, Toliman and San Pedro are protecting the lake. Free time for lunch (not included but our guide will recommend you a very good restaurant where to eat local food). Our guide will indicate you the departure time for your returning to La Antigua. 4 LAKE ATITLAN ONE DAY TOUR 8hrs approx. 02 PERSONS MINIMUN Daily breakfast at your hotel is confirmed. At 07:00, transfer to Panajachel Town. Upon arrival, boat trip to Santiago Atitlan (1 hr), a Tzutujil Village located on the South part of Lake Atitlan, on the slopes of Atitlan Volcano. This will be a unique experience, on a very short walking, visit the Church of Santiago Apostol and the Contraternity of Maximon (optional); its permanent handcraft and fruits market. If you want, you will also have the opportunity to swear the local typical suit. At indicated time, return by boat to Panajachel, free time for lunch (not included but our tour guide will recommend you a very good restaurant). After lunch, you may take a walk on the Famous Santander Street and then, when our tour guide indicates you, transfer back to La Antigua. This excursion lasts about eight hours depending of the heavy traffic on the way back. 5 TIKAL ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE ONE DAY TOUR 15 hrs approx. including time of flight Box breakfast will be delivered at the reception desk of your hotel. At 04:00AM, transfer to the domestic terminal to take the flight to Flores, Peten. Upon arrival, transfer to Tikal Archaeological Site, this is one of the most important sites of the Maya Civilization; here you will have the opportunity to have a close encounter with nature, our guide will show you the model of the site, then onto the Central Acropolis or Main Plaza where you will admire the impressive temples, The Great Jaguar, the Masks Temple and the Lost World. lunch at a local restaurant (included) and when the tour guide indicates you, transfer back to the airport for your flight back to Guatemala City. 6 PACAYA VOLCANO AND SANTA TERESITA THERMAL SPA 7 hrs appox. Daily breakfast at your hotel is confirmed. At 07:30AM, from your hotel to the Pacaya Volcano. It is the most active volcano in Guatemala, with its 2,500 mts. above the sea; the environment is formed by humid forest and rocks. It has impressive views of the lagoon of Calderas and other three volcanoes: Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango. The Pacaya Volcano is readily accessible, therefore with our tour you do not need to be in good shape to climb it. You will visit the border of the base within the main cone to see the lava eruption, if the volcano is active. It is a complete adventure in only one day. Walk of ascent 2 1/2 hrs. You can also make the ascent by horse; it is one of the best adventure experiences in Guatemala. At indicated time, transfer to Santa Teresita Spa where you will have a for a thermal circuit (and time for lunch-not included), this therapy consists in immersing the body for short periods of different temperatures, going from hot to cold. The cycle starts with one of 41 C followed by other of 24 C, then with one of 37 C, and finally with one of 31 C. Then you will enjoy a delicious smoothie.
