It also includes other important aspects or peculiarities. Rosa M. Crujeiras (Ribera, 1978) es Profesora Titular de Universidad en el área de Estadística e Investigación Operativa (USC). Obtuvo su doctorado en Matemáticas en enero de 2007, con la tesis titulada "Contributions to Spatial Spectral Statistics", obteniendo la cualificación de sobresaliente cum laude, con mención internacional. Fue investigadora postdoctoral en el Institut de Statistique, Université Catholique de Louvain (Bélgica). Desde enero de 2008, es profesora en el área de Estadística e Investigación Operativa. Sus líneas de investigación se centran en la inferencia no paramétrica, con especial aplicación a los procesos espaciales y espacio-temporales y a los datos direccionales. Investigación. Es autora de más de 50 publicaciones o capítulos de libros en diversas revistas nacionales o internacionales. Autora o coautora de más de 50 comunicaciones presentadas en congresos nacionales o internacionales. Ha dirigido tres tesis doctorales y varios trabajos de fin de máster y fin de grado. Desde enero de 2014 es co-ip de un proyecto MTM (nuevo proyecto desde diciembre 2016), y ha sido investigadora principal en varios convenios y contratos con empresas. Referee para Annals of Statistics, Bernoulli, Computational Statistics and Data Analysis, Environmetrics, Stochastic Environmental Research and Risk Assessment, Science of the Total Environment, Test, Computational Statistics y Scandinavian Journal of Statistics. Reviewer para Mathematical Reviews (American Mathematical Society). Desde Febrero de 2009, es correponsal de la USC para InfoSEIO(Boletín de la SEIO). Editora asociada de BEIO desde julio de También ha editado los proceedings del Seminario de Iniciación á Investigación (2007) del Insituto de Matemáticas (USC), y los Proceedings del V International Workshop on Spatio-Temporal Modelling (METMAV, 2010), que posteriormente se publicaron en un número especial de Environmetrics (vol. 23). Así mismo formó parte del comité organizador y secretaría de dicho congreso. También ha formado parte del comité científico de congresos internacionales como el IWSM y más recientemente, de BioAPP Gestión. Desde octubre de 2010 hasta junio de 2013 fue secretaria del Instituto de Matemáticas de la USC, y desde junio de 2013 hasta enero de 2015 ocupó el puesto de vicedecana de la Facultad de Matemáticas. Desde enero de 2015 hasta junio de 2017 fue adjunta a la Vicerreitoría de Comunicación y Coordinación de la USC. Desde junio de 2017 es vicerrectora de comunicación y coordinación de la USC. Docencia.
