3 Milan, Italy Located south of the Italian Alps, Milan has a lot to offer. Considered the Italian's capital of business, fashion, music and design, Milan brings history and modernity together. The atmosphere of Italy s most modern and advanced city seeps in when you visit. Visitors are captured by the elegance, style, energy and the international flair. Milan is the hub of Italian culture, music, media and sports, boasting two football power houses, Inter Milan and AC Milan. Temperature In October, the average daily temperature in Milan is 14.5 C but temperatures can still reach highs of 19 C which can feel quite pleasant. Temperatures are starting to drop low at night and the average minimum temperature in the evening is 10 C

4 Flights Several major airlines serve Milan and there are daily flights from London Gatwick, London Heathrow, London Stansted and Manchester. Airlines include EasyJet, British Airways, Alitalia, KLM, Ryanair, Air France and plenty more. Based on the flight schedule for 2018, direct flights from London airports to Linate and Malpensa Airport are available at regular intervals out on Fridays and returning on a Sunday afternoon/evening. The hotel is 8.0km from Milan Linate Airport, which is approximately a 23 minute drive. We would recommend that you fly into this airport for ease of transfer. Alternatively, the hotel is 51.2km from Malpensa Airport, which is approximately a 51 minute drive. 24 Activities Milan from the rooftops The tour will start at the hotel where we will take a walk to Milan s beautiful Duomo di Milano, the 3rd largest cathedral in the world. You will have the opportunity to reach the top of the magnificent cathedral and walk through the terrace amongst the beautiful cathedral Gothic spires. In addition to the magnificence of the Gothic architecture, Duomo is decorated by 3400 statues and more than 700 altorelievos. You will then continue the tour to the famous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. Designed in 1861 and built by Giuseppe Mengoni between 1865 and 1877, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is one of the world's oldest shopping malls and a pure symbol of Milan.
