1 The Lodge at Fontana Cabins in the Forest Riverside Camping Accomodations here are a variety of accommodations available throughout the 400 acre valley to fit any budget or Tsize group. The Lodge at Fontana has 91 inn rooms. The outer buildings offer fireplace rooms and pool side cabanas for direct access to the outdoor lodge pool from your back door. The Mountview Bistro and Bears Den Lounge are conveniently located on the western end of the Lodge complex. More than a hundred cabins with different sleeping arrangements and amenity packages are located throughout the valley with easy access to all the Village has to offer. The amenities include fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, full kitchens, central heat & air, televisions with cable broadcast channel lineup, washers and dryers. All kitchen utensils, towels and bed linens are provided. The Village also has a campground along the shores of the Little Tennessee River below Fontana Dam.

The Village maintains dozens of miles of pristine forest trails for hiking and mountain biking. The Fontana Marina on Fontana Lake rents all types of watercraft for a day on the 33 mile long reservoir bordered on the south by the national forest and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park along its entire northern shoreline. Your guests can take in a day of whitewater rafting in the beautiful Nantahala Gorge or just sit back for the afternoon on the covered porch of the Wildwood Grill, enjoying a set of regional bluegrass. The horse stables are open daily for guided horseback tours under the stunning forest canopy alongside the streams that course through the valley. Plan a morning of disc golf on the championship disc golf course that meanders through the Village. The choices are almost endless.

From Knoxville, TN take Hwy 129 south from Knoxville to Maryville. Just past Maryville, Hwy. 129 turns left off of the four lane highway. Just past the TN/NC state line turn left on Hwy 28. Continue on Hwy. 28 for 9 miles. From north Atlanta, GA travel north on I-75, I-575, GA 5, US 76, GA & NC 60 North, US 64 east to US 129/19. North of Andrews, take US 129 to Robbinsville. Take NC 143 east to Hwy 28, follow Hwy 28 to Fontana Village. From Chattanooga, TN take I-75 north to exit 60 turn right on US 68 south. Merge onto US 411 north, turn right on TN 72 and right on US 129. Part of this road is a twisting mountain road. Just past the TN/NC state line turn left on Hwy 28.
