3 Dairy Barn The most popular special event venue in Fort Mill, the historic Dairy Barn at the Anne Springs Close Greenway was built in 1947 and renovated to provide a unique and beautiful venue for indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies, receptions, fundraisers, trade shows, corporate retreats, company picnics and more. The expansive loft area upstairs features original hardwood flooring and rafters, while the lower level offers a wood paneled assembly space and milk parlor, lined with windows to allow natural lighting during the day and soft lighting for nighttime activities. The large outdoor patio features a hard surface to accommodate tenting and other rental décor and is surrounded by a beautiful pastoral landscape. The front lawn, as well as the greenspace behind the barn, provide a perfect backdrop for an outdoor wedding ceremony or reception activities for guests. The Dairy Barn also provides a spacious bridal suite (complete with floor to ceiling mirror and makeup counters) and groom s room to make getting ready a relaxing experience for all parties. 5 Field Trial Barn The Field Trial Barn harkens back to the days of daylong dog competitions, while today s venue provides a unique and laidback space for events of all kinds. A rustic red, the Field Trial Barn is located on top of a crest of rolling pastoral landscape at the Anne Springs Close Greenway. The large sliding barn doors make this venue ideal for a breezy spring or crisp fall event. The rustic wooden interior sets a fun backdrop for events large and small, with a formal outdoor patio space decorated with string lighting and fire pit. The green pastoral landscape adjacent to the venue provides an optimal place to hold an outdoor ceremony or other activities. 6 Comporium Amphitheater Located within walking distance of the Dairy Barn, the Comporium Amphitheater opened in 2015 and hosts a wide variety of annual special events, as well as weddings, private parties and corporate functions. The artfully designed amphitheater features a 1,200 sf. stage, complete with theatrical lighting and sound system, as well as adjacent storage and additional facilities. The structure is comprised of amberhued Douglas Fir timbers, and natural Tennessee fieldstone makes up the foundation façade, patio and walls. The Comporium Amphitheater emphasizes the area s natural tree canopy and rolling hills, featuring a grove of tall trees that preserve the unique integrity of the outdoor space. The surrounding grounds can accomodate up to 1,000 guests on blankets and chairs or as many as 400 for a seated affair. 7 Rush Pavilion This open-air shelter features a beautiful hardwood ceiling with a stone fireplace overlooking Lake Haigler. The Rush Pavilion is ideal for team-building activities, company picnics, birthday parties and intimate wedding ceremonies and receptions. Picnic tables are available for use that will seat 75 under shelter. More seating is available with rentals including the option of additional tenting. 8 Oak Room at Fort Mill Golf Club The Oak Room at Fort Mill Golf Club features a wrap-around porch with rocking chairs and lovely panoramic views of the course. From weddings and birthday parties to business meetings and reunions, the Oak Room is an ideal location for any event. A deck surrounding the clubhouse offers guests a place to relax in rocking chairs and enjoy the panoramic views of the golf course. Our friendly and experienced catering staff is prepared to provide specific services tailored to your needs. Personalized service begins from the moment you contact the Catering Director and does not end until you are completely satisfied. 9 Springfield Golf Pavilion Sprinkled with elegance, the Springfield Golf Pavilion offers a picturesque space for a a variety of celebrations. Guests will enjoy views of the surrounding greens, a gas-powered fire pit, covered pavilion and nearby indoor restrooms. Located just minutes from uptown Charlotte, this outdoor venue is sure to satisfy all event guests! You can bring your own alcohol in as long as you have a TIPS or ServSafe certified bartender. Can we choose our own vendors? You can, with the exception of Creative Solutions (our rental company). Please note that all caterers must provide a business license (varies per state) and a certificate of insurance. Is parking included in my venue rental? Yes, parking is included for all clients and event guests. What is required to book the venue? We require a security deposit and signed contract. Will there be staff on site to assist us? We will provide an onsite Venue Host who is to assist with venue-related questions. When can we access the venue? Your access time begins at the start of a 9-hour timeframe.
