Background & History An emblematic establishment of the Big Apple since 1926, the Warwick New York was built and made famous by William Randolph Hearst - an American businessman and media tycoon in the early twentieth century - for the love of his life, the Hollywood actress Marion Davies. Since then, the hotel continues to host famous celebrities and has inevitably become a mythical icon in Manhattan, synonymous with New York glamour and understated indulgence. Inspired by the heritage of its first hotel, Warwick Hotels and Resorts (WHR) has developed a collection of luxury properties worldwide derived from the strong identity of the Warwick New York. Each hotel is bound together by its individuality, each with its own remarkable and unique story to tell. Soon after acquiring its New York flagship in 1980, Warwick Hotels and Resorts opened its Parisian counterpart in the same year, the Warwick Paris located just off arguably one of the most famous avenues in the world, the Avenue des Champs-Elysées. Other hotels soon followed: in Europe, the Warwick Brussels (formerly known as Royal Windsor Hotel Grand Place) overlooking The Grand Place; the renowned Hôtel Westminster on Rue de la Paix in Paris - the former residence of the Duke of Westminster - between Opera Garnier and Place Vendome and the Warwick Geneva which boasts magnificent views of Mont Blanc. Across the Atlantic, during the same period, WHR also saw Warwick Seattle and Warwick Denver join its Collection. Concurrently, resorts were being added to The Collection in the Pacific. The success of its first resort, the Warwick Fiji, encouraged the growth of additional resorts within The Collection in the most exotic locations, against the backdrop of pristine beaches and dense tropical vegetation. Since then, The Collection has continued to grow around the world with new locations constantly being added - in San Francisco, Dallas, Lyon, Bali, as well as lately new markets such as Middle East and Africa.

6 THE HISTORY OF DEVELOPMENT Expansion Dubai Athens Fiji Islands With more than 55 hotels in 25 countries* and more than 9,000 rooms exclusively in the 4 and 5 star segment, here are the key figures of the Warwick Hotels and Resorts Collection: For over 30 years, the strategy deployed by Warwick Hotels and Resorts (WHR) is based on three distinct but aligned models: ownedand-managed; affiliation agreements and management contracts. This allows members with flexibility and a choice of varying aspects of expertise they can choose from. After having successfully established a network of 18 fully ownedand-managed hotels - in Europe, the United States, Asia-Pacific and effectively demonstrated our ability to adopt a tailor-made approach to managing hotels, WHR created its affiliation model catered to independent hotels. WHR saw a need for independent hotels to be represented by likeminded owners who share its desire to preserve the uniqueness and charm of their hotels, whilst providing the international sales and marketing platform, distribution network and worldwide access to corporate and leisure travellers parallel to larger hotel companies. As WHR is also independently owned, we understand and cherish the needs of our affiliate member hotels. Today 21 Hotels within the Collection are affiliates, including our latest additions Hotel Paseo del Arte in Madrid, Spain and Mansion Hotel Shanghai in Shanghai, China. Our third model is that of management contracts. Since 2012, 11 management contracts in the Middle East have been signed. In addition to our first one in Bali, the Warwick Ibah Luxury Villas & Spa in Ubud, we have the following: Three in Lebanon, Warwick Pangéa Beach - Jiyeh, Warwick Palm Beach and Warwick Stone 55, both in Beirut; one in Dubai, the Warwick Dubai, one in Iraq, the Babylon by Warwick - Baghdad in Baghdad and one in Qatar, the Warwick Doha. The Mist Hotel & Spa by Warwick - Ehden, a mountain resort located 1 hour from Beirut, Warwick Ankara in Turquey, Warwick al Khobar, Warwick Riyadh and Salsabil by Warwick, all located in Saudi Arabia are the latest additions to the collection in the Middle East region. In Europe, WHR has just finished to revamp, the Hotel Barsey by Warwick in Brussels and 28 Rooms & Suites of the Hôtel Westminster in Paris have also been completely redesigned. Other renovations are planned. Lately, WHR has acquired the Warwick Allerton - Chicago, truly a sister hotel to the Warwick New York, the Warwick Melrose - Dallas and the Warwick San Francisco, all historic landmarks. Last year, WHR added two new resorts in Cuba to their collection: Warwick Cayo Santa Maria Cuba and Naviti Varadero Cuba. Extending into the Bahamas, late last year the Warwick Paradise Island Bahamas opened its doors after completing renovations. Recently, WHR acquired The Capital Group, consisting of The Capital Hotel, a five-star boutique property with 49 rooms along with a Michelin-starred restaurant Outlaw s at The Capital along with The Levin Hotel, a 12 room boutique luxury hotel in a townhouse. Both of these properties are located merely steps away from the famed Harrods luxury department store. With The Capital Group aquisition, WHR also attained Capital Apartments, which boast studio, onebedroom and two-bedroom apartments (11 total).
