Thomson who came to Thailand as a US officer during World War II. The name Jim Thomson became synonymous with Thai silk. He mysteriously disappeared during a visit to the Cameron Highlands in Malaysia in Suan Pakkard Palace used to be the residence of Princess Chombhotpong Paripatra of Nagor and is made entirely of golden teak.
