It has a number of other assets, including the folk art for which the North of Thailand has long been famous. Day 1: Transfer to Bangkok Airport, depart for Chiang Mai. Arrive at Chiang Mai Airport, meet and transfer to the hotel : Visit the sacred mountaintop temple of Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep and a picturesque Meohilltribe village : Return to hotel. Day 2: American Breakfast : Visit a jungle area north of the city to see elephants at work. The program includes a demonstration of how trained elephants are used to help in lumber work. Stops are made at Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden, and at an orchid nursery. Return to hotel. Afternoon: At leisure. Evening: Khantoke Dinner, a typical northern Thai meal with local variety shows. Excludes: - Domestic air ticket Bangkok-Chiang Mai-Bangkok CHIANG RAI PACKAGE Located 100 kilometers northeast of Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai it is the gateway to the Golden Triangle. Most visitors to the town are interested in hiltribe trekking or taking a boat trip on the Kok River. A part of the Lanna Kingdom, there are several historic temple to visit. Day1 Transfer to Bangkok Airport, depart for Chiang Rai. Arrive Chiang Rai Airport, meet and transfer to the hotel : Visit Chiang Rai City by comfortable, leisurely tricycle "samlor". Then transfer to microbus to visit famous temples, such as Wat Phra Keo where the much venerated Emerald Buddha image was once enshrined. Drive up a hill for a glimpse of the city and visit Wat Phra That Loy Phra Baht and Wat Doi Thong. Visit the statue of King Mengrai who built Chiang Rai City and Hilltribe Museum and Education Centre : Return to hotel. Day 2: American Breakfast. Full day to Akha and Yao Hilltribek, Mae Sai Border Town, Golden Triangle and Chiang Sean 08.30: Drive north from Chiang Rai to Mae Chan to visit Yeo and Akkhahilltribe villages where highly skillful and beautiful artifacts can be purchased. Then drive to Chiang Saen and visit Wat Chedi Luang, the first temple founded there. Next, take the road alongside the Mekong River for 12 kms to the Golden Triangle where the borders of three countries meet - Thailand, Myanmar (Burma) and Laos. After lunch at the Golden Triangle, proceed to Mae Sai at the northernmost tip of Thailand bordering Myanmar, through which passes an ancient trade route leading to Myanmar and Yunnan in China. Here many local and Burmese handicrafts are on display. Lunch is provided : Return to hotel.. Day 3: American Breakfast. AM: Visit White Temple or Wat Ronghun is a contemporary unconventional Buddhist and Hindu temple. It was designed by Chalemchai Kosipipat. Return to hotel and check out. Page 2 of 9

As depicted in the movie and a part of the "Death Railway", the historical black iron bridge was the target of Allied bombing during hrs. : Take a train ride along part of the Death Railway to Nam Tok station, the last existing train station of the Thailand-Burma railway in Thailand, passing the dangerous looking wooden viaduct built along the mountain hrs.: Arrive Nam-Tok station. Transfer to River Kwai Village Hotel hrs.: Check-in at the hotel upon arrival. Thai lunch at jungle View Restaurant hrs. : Kaeng Lava Cave : Take a long-tailed speed boat upstream along the Kwai Noi River. Visit Khao Rang, a small hill near Phuket town, to see a beautiful panoramic view of the town and nearly the whole island. Then drive past the old section of Phuket town where the buildings still reflect early Chinese and Portuguese influence. Visit Wat Chalong, Phuket s most holy and renowned monastery; Phuket Shell Museum where you will see the large Andaman Golden Pearl and a magnificent, rare collection of shells and fossils from around the globe; Rawai Beach, Phuket s oldest beach resort; and on the west side of the beach, the place where the sea people live.
