After lunch, discover the truth behind the well-known name of Golden Triangle and behind the beauty of the poppy at Hall of Opium one of the museum with the great exhibition run by Mae Fah Luang Foundation where you can discover the history of the drug trade especially the OPIUM TRADE. Before heading back to the city of Chiang Rai, visit Chiang Saen Ancient City, where the home town of King Meng Rai who built Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai (overnight in Chiang Rai City).

Upon arrival, check in at the Angkhang Nature Resort and lunch will be served at the resort s restaurant. After lunch, your will be free to take a short break in the room or take a deep breath while walking around the resort. In the afternoon, the walking trip throughout the King Royal Project will start. The walking trip will take you to visit Flower Plantation, The Bonsai Garden, The Vegetable Plantation, Fruits Plantation, etc. After the afternoon walk, the dinner will be served at the Royal Project s Cafeteria with their fresh products from the garden and the rest of the evening will be free at leisure. Day 3 CHIANG MAI CHIANG RAI (B, L, D) Breakfast with the chilly atmosphere and the nature surrounded and then, you will be free to enjoy the morning at your leisure. Around 10.00am, visit the minority who lives in the Angkhang Area and the King help them by give them the opportunity to grow other crop instead of the opium and mobile plantation (you will also visit the Nor Lae and Kob Dong Village together with the tea plantation). 18 EXPLORE-01 EXPLORE CHIANG MAI 5 Days 4 Nights Day 1 CHIANG MAI (ARRIVAL) (-, -, D) Warmly welcome at Chiang Mai International Airport. In the evening, take you to local style dinner called Khan Toke Dinner which served a local food (Sticky Rice, Fried Pork Skin, Northern Chili Paste, Pork Curry, Sweet Crispy Rice and Deep-Fried Banana) in a local style with the traditional performances. After the dinner, take you to explore the whole sales fresh market in Chiang Mai called Muang Mai Market which number of vegetables, fruits, meats and all ingredients can be found. (for early arrival; optional trip for Chiang Mai City & Museum Tour or Doi Suthep Temple & Hmong Hill Tribe Village are available) Day 2 CHIANG MAI (CITY EXPLORE) (B, L, D) Breakfast at the hotel and then, continue to Chiang Man Temple which is the first temple in Chiang Mai. After that, start your walk tour to explore the city of Chiang Mai with some temples (passing the schools, monument). Then, lunch will be served at the local restaurant in the old city area. After lunch, take a Red Cap (local transportation) to Warorot Market (the biggest local fresh market in Chiang Mai) where you can have a chance to explore the fresh market and the other product which sell to the local people and then, visit one of the tea house for afternoon tea or coffee with some dessert. After that, visit Wat Ked Karam and its museum before having dinner while cruising along Ping River. In the late evening, transfer back to the hotel and free at leisure or you can continue the night with a live band at the restaurant along the river (the transportation back to the hotel : own arrangement). Day 3 CHIANG MAI (ANCIENT CITY EXPLORE) (B, L, D) Breakfast at the hotel, and visit Wieng Kum Kam Ancient City where the first site that the first King of Chiang Mai built the city before moving to Chiang Mai. You will have a chance to take a horse carriage to explore some site in the area and then, lunch will be served at the local restaurant. In the afternoon, transfer back to town and drive up to Doi Suthep. Upon arrival at the temple, change to the local truck and continue the trip to one of Hmong Hill Tribe Village at Baan Khun Chang Kian to explore the village and the compound. Then, visit Doi Suthep Temple (located 1,025 meters above sea level) the outstanding temple on the mountain top, was built in the 13th century, which the beautiful scenery of the city of Chiang Mai can be seen from its terrace and observed the Monk Evening Service Ceremony (around 06.00pm pm.). After that, drive back to town and make a stop for dinner at the local restaurant before transfer back to the hotel. Day 4 CHIANG MAI (THAI CURINARY & MARKET EXPLORE) (B, L, -) Breakfast at the hotel and then, you will be picked up for the hands on Thai Cooking Experience. Upon arrival at the school, you will have a chance to meet up with new friends and vote for your menu. After that, the instructor will walk the group to the fresh market and explain about Thai Fresh Market, ingredients such as how to make fresh coconut milk and how to

Upon arrival, take a walk around small farm with the explanation of the chef about the herbs growing and ingredients. 20 EXPLORE-02 EXPLORE the NATURE 6 Days 5 Nights Day 1 CHIANG MAI (ARRIVAL) (-, -, -) Meet & Greet at Chiang Mai International Airport with escorted and then, transfer to the selected hotel and free at leisure. (for early arrival; optional trip for Chiang Mai City & Museum Tour or Doi Suthep Temple & Hmong Hill Tribe Village are available) Day 2 CHIANG MAI (TREKKING) (B, L, D) After breakfast, drive up north to Mae Tang Area for the 2 Day Trekking and the first stop will be at the local market in Mae Tang called Mae Ma Lai Market to stock some food and ingredient for the dinner and you can also explore the fresh local market in the same times. Then, continue the trip to the waterfall where you can refresh yourself or swim with the sound of the nature and falls (easy packed lunch will be served here). After lunch, drive up hill to the hot spring and start a 3 hour trekking through the challenge trials to Karen Village on the mountain top (where you will spend the night here in the village). Upon arrival, explore the village on your own pace while the guide is prepare the easy dinner and during the dinner time, lots of things about the village, hill tribes, life stock, cultivation, etc will be shared by the guide. Then, you will be free to enjoy the wonderful clear sky in the quite village before going to bed. (the overnight will be in the simply primitive hut without the electricity). Day 3 CHIANG MAI (TREKKING) PAI (B, L, D) Awake with the fresh air and the sound of nature. In the morning, easy breakfast will be served and then, start your day with the trekking to the elephant camp and then, ride the elephant through the jungle and to Lahu Village for easy lunch. After lunch, take the bamboo raft down the stream of the river (the perfect period for the big rapids is from May to November) to Shan Village where you can get change and make you self ready to continue the trip to Pai District. When you reach the main road, change to the van and continue the trip to Pai passing through the mountains and valleys up and down hill. Upon arrival in the city of Pai, check in at the resort. After that, you will be transfer to one of the resort for the hot spa and relax with the massage. Dinner will be served at the hotel s restaurant and then free at leisure or you can explore and enjoy the night in Pai on your own pace.
