Durham is located at the pinnacle of North Carolina's noted Research Triangle region. Durham is home to the namesake Research Triangle Park, Duke and North Carolina Central universities. We are convinced Durham will also be an excellent site for this very important event. Your requirements will be met as follows: HEADQUARTERS & LODGING Durham has more than 7,000 sleeping rooms, over 2,500 in full-service properties. All together, Durham has more than 300,000 net square-feet of exceptional and unique meeting space including two major convention centers. Durham can accommodate 80-85% of the nation s conventions and meetings. Proposals from individual properties are included. The following information will detail Durham's location, background, and character, along with its climate, outstanding accessibility, abundance of features and activities, and specialty programs. The many convention and meeting services provided by the Durham Convention and Visitors Bureau are also included. We believe that Durham will make an excellent site for NCCAT to hold it s Alumni Weekend.
