1 ADVENTURES OF LAKELAND SUMMER CAMP IN MIDDLE FINLAND During this cummer camp the children will learn the Adventures of the Lakeland of Finland in the most natural way, by being in the nature. This summer camp includes guided outdoor activities, handicrafts and eight unforgettable days in Middle Finland. Canoe trip on the lake, hiking in the forest, angling from the pier. Many evenings you will have a chance to try sauna and swimming. can be enjoyed at the campfire by the lake. This summer camp is for pupils and student groups from ages Reasonable number of adult supervision is required from the customer. Program is implemented in English. Program Day 1 Arrival to the area of thousand lakes Pick up from Jyväskylä airport Jyväskylä is a lively, versatile city of sport, movement and well-being in which over events are staged annually. Jyväskylä is situated in the middle of Finland, right in the heart of Finnish lakeland. The city that follows in the footsteps of the world-famous architect Alvar Aalto can offer visitors some amazing encounters with nature in the middle of the city as well as a variety of thought-provoking culture. Jyväskylä challenges people to get moving and enjoy some refreshing physical recreation that leaves a mark on each and every one of us in a unique way! Arrival to Varjola Farm Arriving to Varjola you get further from the city and can already enjoy the country side scenery as you're getting closer. Varjola holiday center is situated within easy access by airplane, train or car (approx. 30 minutes from Jyväskylä and 20 minutes from Tikkakoski airport) in a beautiful milieu right by the Kuusaankoski rapids. We greet you with the closeness of nature, our old farm milieu brought to this modern age and the kind and considerate service of our staff. Accommodation in a nice Riihi rooms 2-5 persons/room, one bathroom in each room Hiking trip to Oitinmäki-hill Have relaxing and peacefull time while experiencing the silence of the Finnish forests. Surrounding country side offers wide variety of sceneries along the way and you may find

2 mushrooms or berries to pick. Soot pot coffee and picnic sandwiches are served along journey. Guidance and all equipments are included. at the unique Barn restaurant Varjola is famous for it`s delicious and high quality food. In Varjola restaurants local incredients and goodies are used as much as possible and menus vary seasonally. will include salad buffet, maincourse and dessert with tea/coffee. Meals vary depending on the day. Day 2 Olympics and adventures of the Kuusa rapids Country-style breakfast is a hearty way to start the day. in cozy Barn reastaurant is made from local incredients. You may taste the home-made jam, crispy bacon and many others. Country Olympics At the country olympics group will be divided into teams and they will have small playfull games outdoors. Tradiotional games and activities will be held in Varjola area. Enjoy relaxing time all you need is a hint of humour! Examples from our task choices: Milking the fake cow, Seesaw catapult, Labyrinth, Walking with wooden legs, Country slingshots, Pulling the rope, Varjola mine field Lunch at the Barn restaurant Lunch wi ll include salad buffet, maincourse and dessert with tea/coffee. River Adventure Try the foaming rapids of Kuusa. River adventures tasks are: Crossing the rapids with cable wire Walking on the cord above rapids Whitewater rafting in the summer at the Barn Restaurant will include salad buffet or soup, maincourse and dessert with tea/coffee. Sauna Our ancestors, young and old as well as women and men used to go to sauna bare-naked. Sauna was a holy place for them and natural place to relax. Still today, sauna in Finland is about purification and healing. In Varjola we will have separate sauna times for boys and girls. You may also bring your bathing suite. In between sauna you may swim in the lake in In Varjola smoke sauna you can also enjoy a hot outdoor jacuzzi. Traditional Finnish Smoke saunas offer you a relaxing experience that you will never forget.

Example toast, cereals, omelet etc. Day 3 Handicrafts and outdoor activity Guided handicraft activity Painting traditional slavic eggs This tradition holds slavic origin, in where the eggs have been painted as a gift for others. The patterns and colours are connected with symbols, from which many of them (cross, fish) are connected with the Christian religion. Eggs are painted with a technique which uses beeswax and colours. Each participant will be painting their own eggs. Or Jewelry making session Making jewelry from old spoons and forks. Recycling art at its best. All the participants will have their own jewelry to take back to home with them. Or Baking Gather around a table with group of friends and join us for baking a Ginger bread house! "In former times animal shaped gingerbread cookies were believed to bring good fortune with cattles for the next year. Gingerbread houses were first built in 1920's and their were built to look like a gingerbread house from a story of Hans and Gretel by Grim brothers." Gingerbread houses have been a tradition during Christmas time in Finland. In Varjola we offer you a chance to learn how to make and decorate gingerbread house of your own Activities depend on the size of the group and availability. Lunch at the Barn restaurant Pole football Traditional table game but with you in the game! Two teams will take the challenge on each other. This is not about your skills as a football player but about teamwork. Evening with board games Sit around a table and enjoy board games or card games. Day 4 Devils Tomb and Revontuli and check-out

4 Pack your bags and head toward new adventures. Its time to head towards Revontuli resort! Trip to ancient gorge in Laukaa On your way to Revontuli resort you will have a hike into the beautifull sceneries and get to know the ancient gorge in Laukaa. Hitonhauta is a gorge formed during the Ice Age and at former times it was believed to be shaped by a devil himself. It is 800 meters long and its walls are meters high. The breed width is meters. You will enjoy a light snack during your hike. Travel to Revontuli resort Arrival to Revontuli Resort Welcome to enjoy our hospitality and the natural beauty of Central Finland. Sauna and swimming Day 7 and Check out Transportation to Jyväskylä Guided Jyväskylä city tour The centre of Jyväskylä provides a pleasant setting for shopping, spending time and taking care of everyday business. Surrounded by the Jyväsjärvi lake, the Harju ridge, the Seminaarinmäki hill and Are Square, the lively core of Jyväskylä is compact and easy to navigate. The pedestrian street offers a diverse range of services, shopping opportunities and meeting places. Getting around is easy, and you can take care of everything by foot: souvenirs, shopping, museums, lunch and a relaxing cup of coffee or tea. You can also exercise and pamper your body or nourish your soul: the beautiful City Church is located in

6 the heart of Jyväskylä. Lunch at the city center Jyväskylä handicraft museum Located right in the centre of Jyväskylä, the Craft Museum of Finland is within easy reach. Its size is perfect for the whole family. The basic exhibitions on the ground floor present traditional and modern handicraft by men and women and Finnish folk costumes. There is also the Sense Space where you can try what different objects feel like, try on different pieces of clothing and accessories, and listen to the sounds of handicrafts. The Journey in Time exhibition on the second floor presents texts and images of handicrafts from over 2,000 years. In addition to the basic exhibitions, the museum offers many smaller exhibitions. The second floor of the museum includes an open workshop where children and adults can test their skills and make their own souvenirs. Arrival to hotel and check-in Twin rooms or dormitory rooms Free time Day 8 & check out Toivola Old Yard Located at Cygnaeuksenkatu 2, the atmospheric Toivola Old Courtyard is one the most unique attractions in Jyväskylä. It takes visitors on a journey to a time when the clattering of hooves was a familiar sound in the narrow streets, and the townscape was dominated by low blocks of wooden houses with their gates and courtyards. Toivola Old Courtyard consists of seven beautiful wooden buildings from the late nineteenth century: Toivola House, the Maternity Hospital, Carpenter s House, Coppersmith s House, Sparvin House, storehouses and a workshop. Lunch at the Toivola old yard (or other suitable restaurant) This beautifull Cafe is located in the Toivola Old Yard, in downstairs of the former maternity hospital. The due date of the invoice for the remaining 50 % shall be 30 days before the provision of the services begins. Only one invoice will be sent if the beginning of provision of services is less than one month away from date of acceptance of the proposal. Unless otherwise agreed, the invoice will be sent via to the contact person of the Client.
